After watching the sunrise, enter the interior of the great templeand spend aroundtwo hours exploringthe corridors, central chambers and upper terraces. Your expert local guide will decipher the myriad of stories behind the bas-relief carvings and give you an insight into life during the height of the Khmer empire. We end our touring at Angkor with breakfast outside the temple (take away, from your hotel), and a short rest. Continue the morning by driving through Angkor Thom city and visit the temple of Bayon.

We end the morningwith a visit to jungle-enveloped Ta Prohm, one of the most atmospheric of all temples. Once home to 2,740 monks, Ta Prohm today looks much as it did in the early 1850s, when French explorer Henri Mouhot rediscovered this crumbling site.

  • Fantastic experience, it was certainly worthwhile getting up early for the sunrise. Our guide Sok with his detailed knowledge of the temples and best way to maximise the visit ensured that we got the most out of the tour. I would highly recommend this tour.

  • Friendky tour guide tell you amazing and interesting story to you withnair conditioning van!!

  • This was the best tour my wife and I had during our time in Cambodia. Our guide was excellent and had a great knowledge of the temples we visited and was only too pleased to answer all the questions we had. There were only five people on this tour and it was great. We were not rushed and to stand in an area that was 900 years old was truly humbling. To see the sun rise over Ankor Wat was truely spectacular. We highly recommend this tour to all.

  • early rise, smart guide, no line up for tickets, beautiful sunrise, site to remember for a lifetime

  • A very wholesome experience in this tour. The guide Mr.Prin was extremely knowledgeable and shared a lot of valuable information.Amazed by the history and beauty of this UNESCO heritage.Would highly recommend this tour. It starts early ,with us going first to the ticket counter and then to the sunrise point , where we see the shades of the horizon near the rising sun, later a detailed view is taken of the Angkor Wat Temple . Then it is followed by a breakfast .We were taken to a good restaurant .Also we were constantly given information in the most interesting way as possible which intrigued us to know more about Hindu and Buddhist philosophy!Overall experience of a lifetime. I never expected we would receive such satisfaction. To add we also had a wonderful group to accompany us with and the driver also did a timely pickup and drop off job. In fact he was early in collecting us!! Thanks a lot to Viator and Journey Cambodia.

  • This was a wonderful tour. Hiking in to Angkor Wat before dawn was magical. We watched the sunrise from the reflection pool, which made for stunning photos. Each temple was unique, and we even squeezed in an extra, smaller one we were the only ones on the tour that day. Our driver was attentive, always ready for us at pickup with cold water and towelettes. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we learned a great deal about details we would have missed on our own. He also helped us find the perfect photo spots. We were pleased that our picnic breakfast was at a little cafe, so we were able to order coffee to enjoy with the boxed breakfast provided by our hotel. Lunch was delicious, and we were back at our hotel in the early afternoon.

  • The weather was a bit uncooperative, and there were a TON of people there. That said, the tour included all of the major highlights of Angkor Wat at sunrise, Angkor Thom, Bayon, and Ta Prohm. The tour guide was knowledgeable and professional as well.

  • I would say that they are professional, friendly and supportive. I've a nice trip with Viator and I would recommend tourists to choose their services instead of hiring tuk tuk exploring the Angkor wat.

  • This was a fantastic tour. We had a perfect day and a very knowledgeable guide. My party had a tight timeline to catch our flight we were in Siem Reap for less than 24 hours and our guide was great at working with us to ensure we could see everything and also make our flight in a timely matter. We were also blessed to have great additional members of the tour, which made the overall experience that much more enjoyable.

  • The guide was very knowledgeable, informative, and accommodating. He answered any and all questions and pointed out excellent moments for taking unique photos.

The stop for the drink at the end of the tour was a bit long, but overall a really great experience. Would highly recommend!
