Know More about this tour

At Pelican Marina in Simpson Bay, climb aboard the spacious catamaran Lambada. (Pickup and drop-off are available from certain St Maarten hotels; see Important Info for details.)

Sail up the western coast of St Maarten to Plum Point and then cross the channel to Anguilla. During the journey, sip on rum punch from the onboard walk-up bar and enjoy attentive service from your fun-loving crew.

Arrive at Prickly Pear Island, a tiny uninhabited island devoid of touristic bustle. At this rare retreat, you’ll find only blue sky, pristine white sand beaches and palm trees. Feel yourself relax instantly in this postcard-perfect scenery, and experience a Pavlovian salt taste in your mouth when you hear seagulls and pelicans squawking above.

Don the provided snorkeling gear and jump into the transparent blue waters of the Caribbean. As you float along this aquatic paradise, you’re rewarded with views of coral reef rife with brightly colored fish and other marine life. The smaller children in your group can splash in the shallow waters along the shoreline, or dip their toes in the island lagoon.

Depending on the weather and sea conditions, your expert crew may instead take you to snorkel at reefs around Prickly Pear.

After snorkeling, climb back aboard Lambada and relax as your captain navigates the catamaran to Road Bay. Calm your rumbling stomach with a scrumptious lunch (provided) at Roy's Bayside Grill, typically offering a buffet of BBQ chicken, fish and ribs.

Spend the afternoon combing through Road Bay Beach’s charming little bars and lounging on the soft sand. Take a final swim in the breathtaking blue waters before sailing back to St Maarten.

  • Really fun

  • Capt. and Crew were simply The Best! Attentive to your every need even if you get seasick. Prickly Pear is the first stop so if you are prone to seasickness take all necessary precautions. PRIOR TO checking in know or secure the name of your vessel. I booked online. While process was easy, no vessel name provided so it was confusing at check-in because two vessels were headed to Anguilla that day. Lunch was totally not what we expected. You had a choice of chicken, vegan, ribs or fish. You are given cole slaw, a green salad, potatoes and rice along with your meat/vegan selection all served by the crew. The ride back the sails went up and we participated in dancing with the crew. Open Bar but people on this trip were mindful of the quantity they were drinking so everyone had a grand time. 2 bathrooms on board. Highly recommend this trip on the Lombada.

  • We really enjoyed the sailing trip! You were able to sit, stand, etc., on various part of the boat throughout the trip to see the sites, enjoy the sun, or just feel the wind, and that was nice. Additionally, the crew was very safety-conscious and helpful in getting everyone set up for snorkeling. The short stay on Anguilla was relaxing, and you were able to swim, sunbathe, etc... The only thing that could have been improved was the lunch. It was not gourmet by any stretch of the imagination, but it was edible. Just know that this is an all day trip, and that there may be waves that day 3 1/2 feet our day we were told that they cancel when they get over 6 feet. So, if you get seasick, I'd take something. Otherwise, it's a trip worth taking!

  • This tour was amazing!

  • Anquilla was stunning. The water was beautiful!!! The barbecue lunch on the beach was very good. We enjoyed that very much. The snorkeling was also amazing, my son seen some awesome fish. The crew were very nice and and very very entertaining. Thank you to the crew!!!

  • Great trip, one of the best I've ever been on, crew was awesome, scenery gorgeous, drinks were cold, and strong

  • Amazing trip! The captain and crew were great and super attentive. They made sure all guests on board were well taken care of- always asking if anyone wanted a drink or water. The water was a bit choppy the day I went. but clear and blue so snorkeling was a lot of fun. I went w/ my mom and the guys were patient w/ her as this was her first time snorkeling. I would definitely do this again next year. Thumbs up to the team for excellent customer service!

  • Amazing day at Prickly Pear Cay and Anguilla... must do this tour again one day in the near future for sure!

  • This tour was great. The crew on the boat was friendly, energetic, and attentive. The snorkeling location was great and the beach on Anguilla was amazing. The food was tasty and plentiful. I was also really appreciative of our Captain, who cut off the person there's always one, right? on our tour who got hammered on the free rum punch. Even the ride back to St. Maarten was great, as the engines were cut off and we truly sailed for a couple of hours. Overall, I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great day trip.

  • I loved this trip! We were picked up by a shuttle that was prearranged by the tour company which brought us to the marina on Simpson Bay. We sailed on the Lambada. The captain and his crew could not have been more helpful, friendly, and fun! The open bar included beer, wine, and their rum punch which they served to us on the boat and in the water! Snorkeling at Prickly Pear was our first stop. The water was crystal clear and we saw so many colorful fish around the coral reef! We had a great meal on this island after snorkeling. You choose your entrée at the beginning of the trip. Drinks are available to purchase on this part of the trip. Our last stop was just to play in the water at a beautiful beach in Anguilla. Although it sounds like a booze cruise, it was very well organized and professional. Lots of people, young and old, not drinking alcohol and everyone mixed well! Such a fun trip!
