Overview
Annapurna base camp trek is famous for trekkers. The principal peaks of the western portion of the great Annapurna Himal, including Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Fang, Annapurna, Ganagapurna, Annapurna 3 and Machhapuchhare, are arranged almost precisely in a circle about 10 miles in diameter with a deep glacier-covered amphitheater at the center. From this glacier basin, known as the Annapurna Sanctuary, the Modi Khola knifes its way south in a narrow gorge fully 12,000 ft. deep. Further south, the gorge opens up into a wide and fertile valley, the domain of the Gurungs. The middle and upper portions of Modi Khola offer some of the best short trekking routes in Nepal, and the valley is located so that these treks can be easily combined with treks into the Kali Gandaki region to the west. This is private tour, so we organize trip according to your suitable time and date with private Trekking guide.

My friends and I went on 8 day trek to Annapurna Base Camp. We had the most amazing time, mostly due to our fantastic guide Krishna Pokhrel. From day one, he made sure we were comfortable and taken care of - and of course there to have fun! The ABC hike can be challenging at times, but he worked with us so well and made sure that we tackled each day at a pace that suited us. We also couldn't be more grateful to our porter Prikash. He was excellent, usually miles ahead of us on the hike- and the best at playing cards! The Nepal Mountain club as a company has treated us so well during our time in Kathmandu. Our trip to/from Kathmandu to Pokhara and up to ABC was organised so well that we chose to contact the company again to organise another trip to Pokhara and a paragliding adventure! A huge thank you to Sunil, Ravi, and the rest of the team for helping us create amazing memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

The short review: incredible in every way. Every part of this trek, from the day we first met our agent Ravi to the last day staying in Pokhara was managed extremely well by friendly and genuine staff. Ravi was happy to accommodate us, including a request for a specific guide and clearly highlighting the various treks within the Annapurna region that suit us. He was approachable, and always willing to offer advice. They organise transport on a normal tourist bus, and accommodation at Katero, a lovely and clean hotel only just removed from the lakeside area in Pokhara. Our guide Krishna and the porter Prikash were also amazing. Never annoyed at my relentless questions about the countryside or local life, Krishna always set the appropriate pace to suit our needs. We always felt safe and quickly came to see them as friends. The trek itself was stunning, if not challenging. A good pack, shoes and camera are a must. Do not overlook this company.
