Overview

The Acatenango Volcano is the third-largest in Guatemala. On this tour, you will have the opportunity to climb it with the company of a specialized local guide with knowledge of first aid so that your experience is pleasant and safe. During your climb to the volcano, you will be able to observe different microclimates, from planting spaces, passing through a cloud forest until reaching a sandy and rocky place. You will be amazed by the beautiful views of the entire volcanic mountain range of Guatemala and to see up close the eruptions of the Fuego volcano that is located right next to the Acatenango volcano.
