  • We had great difficulty with communication with the local provider. We gave him the address we had been given by the AirBNB and when we got to Costa Rica, we followed up by giving him a more specific address the day before the tour. We did this twice. They did not show up to the correct location and it took an hour to fix the problem and the owner was very nasty on the phone. He kept asking me to call back in five minutes. The tour was not at all what we were expecting. The roads were difficult and our daughter was car sick. We had to pay for things such as towels and lockers that were said to be included in the tour. The best part of the tour was the kindness of the driver. Beyond that, I would not do this and will not use Viator again after this dismal experience.
