My friends and I booked this tour in Costa Rica, and it was honestly one of the best parts of our trip! We so appreciated not having to worry about transportation, as our driver/tour guide, Hernan, picked us right up from our hotel. Hernan was hilarious and informative! The zip lining was so much fun and the hot springs were a perfect way to relax afterward (lockers for your belongings are provided at both locations). The ticket tells you to bring a towel, but you won’t need it. The hotel where the hot springs are located provide one for you. We got so many awesome pictures on all the stops along the way. The waterfalls were my favorite! The food was delicious, too. I would love to do this tour again some time!

This tour is amazing. We had so many different stops along the way to Arenal Volcano that the drive didn't feel long at all. Our tour guide Joseph was great. I saw so many things in one day, coffee plantation, beautiful waterfall, hot springs, zip linning, great food was included. Well worth the money.

Excellent time on this excursion, beautiful country, very informative guide, multiple interesting stops to volcano and on return, highly recommended.

They picked up another couple instead of us at the hotel, So they were an hour late getting us. We missed and hour of what I'm not sure. The "coffee tour" was literally 5 min. The guide showed us a coffee tree and bean then said the how they pick it. He escorted us to the shop and invited us to buy things. Next we stopped for a strawberry tasting. You guessed it, here taste a strawberry, you like it buy our stuff! Then they skipped the volcano tour they said it was to cloudy. Zipline was fun but at the end while you are still in the canopy they take you to a tent with "natives" and they show you traditional mask and instruments and you guessed it. You like, buy our stuff! The Hot springs were relaxing and clean and no attempt to get you to buy anything. The only downside was one of the ladies in our tour group had her purse/phone disappear. Lunch was good with many choices. Dinner was a buffet however it was very limited in it's choice. I do not like green peppers or ranch dressing. So the options were rice with green peppers, fish and chicken with onions and peppers. Beans plantains and a salad with ranch dressing. So my dinner was beans and plantains. Long story short if you have saved and dreamed of a trip like this spend your money elsewhere.

The zip line was fun. The hot springs are nice to end the day. However, it was a long drive. We only had one day left in CR and that is why we did this tour. If you have more time I would recommend an overnight stay.

Excellent tour that included a lot of stops to see things along the way. Juan the tour guide is the best. He has a genuine interest in you having the best time and seeing all that you want to see. He went out of his way to make sure we saw a sloth and he delivered. He is an excellent driver, offered a lot of useful information and made sure we had enough time to see things yet kept us on an organized schedule so that we didn't waste a lot of time at one place. I highly recommend Juan as a tour guide!

Okay ! Honest opinion from an unbiased reviewer lol. This trip was definitely an adventure!! We were picked up from a hotel at 6:30am and headed to the rainforest. We stopped a few times for sightseeing along the way. The drive was LONG. Super long. Luckily we were traveling with some funny people that kept it entertaining. We stopped in a tree house for a snack and saw some toucans. We stopped for lunch, drove by the volcano so you didn’t really stop and get to see it but we really didn’t care. We were pretty much ready to get to the rainforest. Zip lining was great but be mindful the rainforest is extremely unpredictable so BRING A CHANGE OF CLOTHES!!!! and walking shoes !!! Preferably hiking shoes. It was POURING raining when my group zip lined and there was mud everywhere on the line but that was fine. It made it more of a Costa Rican rainforest adventure I guess you can say. After this we headed to the thermal spa which was in my opinion the highlight of the trip as there was a bar in the water and we got to clean up in the showers. After this we headed to dinner which was a 2 hour drive. After we ate we had another hour and half drive back to our hotels. All in all I would definitely recommend this trip if you have a FULL day open. We left at 6:30a from our hotels and returned around 10pm! So it was a LONG long day ! Great guide though!

An outstanding day of activities led by our awesome guide, Henan Sandi! Though it started early in the day, he was energized and ready to take our small group of 7 on the adventure. The schedule as advertised was pretty accurate though, as a local resident, Hernan was able to add some personal touches and stops that made it even better. The pace was excellent and we never felt rushed to get through anything.

Naturally, all of these tours take you to places where you're given opportunities to purchase items from the vendors but we never felt pressured to do so. He was very generous in providing samples of foods and drinks as we went along. Meals were individualized with each participant having a variety to choose from to accommodate their personal taste.

We consider the experience well worth the value of the price. From the tours, ziplines, and the hot-springs spa, there is no way we could have done it all on our own as economically. (NOTE: Don't forget to bring your bathing suit to fully enjoy the spa!)

We had awesome weather which was lucky during rainy season. The DOKU coffee stop was beautiful but no info on coffee plantation. OK lunch but eaten just before zip lining- not a good combo- should have
zip lined before heavy lunch. Also our guide Hernan- seemed to be doing his personal errands- we stopped at the bank, he bought bananas and pineapples at stops that were not tour stops. The tour was still awesome because Costa Rica is awesome! Guide had no information on areas we were seeing.
