Opting for "Aroma of Santorini" tour you will discover the most beautiful spots of Santorini, accompanied by a local, friendly, experience guide. After picking you up from your hotel or from a pick up point of your choice , we will stroll around Megalochori, an inland village, one of the few traditional villages of Santorini that did not undergo substantial changes. There, we will taste the exceptional wines of Santorini in a traditional family winery "Gavalas winery". Embrace the best of Oias Village, the most photographed place in Greece. It's landscape is one of the main attractions and perhaps the most characteristic of the whole island. • We visited Santorini in October 2017 as a stop on our honeymoon cruise. The city itself is a modern marvel and is picturesque from every angle. We booked the Aroma of Santorini tour and had Amani as our personal guide and Kostas as our driver. We were able to see all of the major spots on the island within a 3.5hour window, as Amani customized our trip based on our preferences. We would highly recommend this tour! Keep reading below for more details about our experience...

We met Amani early in the morning at the top of the cable car in Fira. She found us very easily and was prompt. We would highly recommend an early start time for this or any tour of Santorini because you can beat the crowds and tour buses!

Amani talked to us about the history and geography of Santorini and fielded our questions about the people and culture. We felt that her tour really hit the high spots: Fira, Oia, the black sand beaches, and Imerovigli. We even visited the Gavalas Winery and were able to tour while they were bottling!

Amani and Kostas made sure to give us enough time to explore each city, on foot and driving. We were able to get photos at the lookouts and we met local friends! At the end of our tour, Amani gave us a great restaurant recommendation to round our our trip. We loved Santorini!!

  • Had an amazing time. Popi was the best tour guide ever!! Was able to see all the best scenic views Santorini had to offer. Totally worth it!!

  • So glad we opted to take this tour! As soon as we docked and took the cable car up to the village, our guide Amani was there waiting with driver Kosta. We got to tour Fira as well as other villages with fantastic scenery. We also toured Gevala Winery where we sampled different bottles. The tour, Amani and Kosta were informative, pleasant and a delight to spend half a day with. Definitely recommend this activity.

  • Definitely recommend this half day tour. Our guide Amani and driver Kosta were friendly, knowledgeable and a delight to spend time with. We toured several villages with fantastic vistas and got to sample some wonderful wine at a local winery. Book ahead and you won't be disappointed!

  • Our tour guide Akis was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history and gave us a good background of Santorini. He was very very spirited and funny despite the 38-degree heat! The itinerary was sufficient which included visiting various villages, picture-taking in scenic locations plus wine tasting. While waiting for the shuttle, Akis suggested that we can try this amazing gelato place, and yes it was really good!
