Know More about this tour

Meet your guide in central Athens, and hop aboard your electric bike: a two-wheeled bicycle with an electric motor. Listen to a safety briefing, then strap on your helmet and set off behind your guide. The pace is leisurely, allowing you to listen to your guide and take in the sights.
Begin with a cycle up the Pnyx, often cited as the birthplace of democracy, and the Hill of the Nymphs, which in ancient times was the site of a shrine dedicated to the nymphs. Your electric bike will make light work of the climb and you’ll be well rewarded with sweeping views of the city.

Next, pedal downhill to the Acropolis of Athens, an ancient citadel and UNESCO World Heritage site, toward the Odeon of Herodes Atticus. Pause by the New Acropolis Museum, which has been ranked among the world’s top museums. Snap photos of the museum’s grand glass facade, and then continue to the iconic Temple of Olympian Zeus (Olympieion), Hadrian’s Arch and Roman Baths.

Ride through the beautiful National Gardens of Athens and be awed by the mighty Panathenaic Stadium — site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896 — and take in the ancient sights of the Roman Agora, once the heart of ancient Athens.
After getting up close to the city’s revered ancient sights, head for the Greek Parliament and the Presidential Residence to learn more about modern-day Greece.

Then, get a taste of daily local life in Plaka, the city’s Old Town. Cruise through the narrow streets lined with neoclassical architecture, Byzantine churches and independent shops. After around three hours, your tour concludes back at the original start point.

  • Just got back from Greece and would highly recommend this electric bike tour. George our guide was wonderful. He was full of information and humor. Riding the bikes through hilly Athens was fun and easy. The ease of riding the bike allowed you to enjoy the sites around you. It was a good way to orientate yourself to Athens before heading out on your own. George made sure when our tour was done that we knew where we were going, as well as, making some suggestions as to where locals go. Little Cooks in the Psirri area was a unique place for coffee and shopping at the Flee Market in Monastiraki were both great suggestions. Everyone in Athens was so helpful and friendly. Don't miss this tour on your visit to Greece. Thank you George for a great time!

  • The tour was wonderful!! Our guide did a great job explaining everything and showing us around. He also gave us good tips on places to go. I highly recommend.

  • Seeing the sights on a bike was great. Hove done it elsewhere and enjoyed it there as well.

What I liked about this one..... Friendly guides, decent bikes, good route.
What I didn't like .... we paid for three hours, the tour ended at 2 and a half, the guide showed up not quite ready - explaining the tour while surping on a drink.

  • We loved this tour. The day we went it was just my daughter, myself and our guide, so it was essentially a private tour. Physically very easy so no worries there. And a great way to get a relatively quick overview of some of the main sites in Athens. Our guide Natalie was very pleasant and helpful. She even recommended a couple of places for meals during our time in Athens and we found the food excellent when we followed her recommendations.

  • On this day I was the only rider, however that turned out to be fantastic. Natalie was my guide, and we had the best time riding thru Athens. Natalie was very knowledgeable of the historic sites, and she gave me new outlook and perspective of the city. I hope to come back and do this again some day. Thanks Natalie!!

  • We did the tour with Sotos and it was a great fun, efficient way to see the major Athens attractions in the height of the summer crowds and heat. The bikes were fantastic and very well maintained. Sotos was very informative and gave plenty of time to take in the attractions and take plenty of photos along the way. If you can ride a bike - you can do this tour!

  • This tour was super good. And having electric bikes was so nice. It's the way to see this lovely city.

  • This tour was amazing! We had a family of 5 2 adults, 1 teenager, 2 younger boys. I've now decided I need an electric bike. I found the guide super informative. The staff super friendly! It was just long enough and the best part was not having to strain up the hills! You do drive down busy streets so you have to be a little confident with that. It also worked out perfect from the cruise ship. We were in port 8am - 6pm and had plenty of time for the tour, then hopped on the metro and went down to the acropolis and had plenty of time to walk to the top and back to the ship before leaving. not sure if you would have enough time for the museum too, depending on how slow you walk

  • Okay, this was just fantastic. First of all, Georges, our guide, was wonderful and EXTREMELY knowledgeable. The electric bikes were awesome. I though it would feel like a motorcycle, but no...you have to pedal the bike and when you start to go up an incline, the motor kicks in. It feels like someone is pushing you gently from behind. Wonderful feeling since Athens is quite hilly and it was very hot that day. We were all over the place. Georges took us to Pynx, the place where democracy was born, we saw changing of the guard in front of the prime ministers palace, we saw parks, the olympic stadium...the list goes on. This was well worth the . Please dont miss this tour, you will love it.

  • George was a great guide for us in Athens. He was the most helpful friendliest person we met in Athens. Loved the electric bikes. Would love to go back and take the tour again.
