Well organised. Good orientation around main sites in the city at the start. Effy the guide was wonderful, she was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and considerate or the group. The highlight for me was the acropolis museum. It was wonderful

My family has done more than 30 tours though Viator, by far this is the worst tour with the worst tour guide. Ms Dora Voukelatour was our guide that day, she was the most impatient and the rudest guide by far. Because I had a keen operation, I couldn't keep with the guide on the slippery marble steps in the rainy day at Acropolis. After I got lost with the tour, my wife asked the guide for help, she shouted so loudly at my wife and made her cry, even the gate staff at the Acropolis tole her stop being so horrible to her customer. Since my wife couldn't get help from the guide and her company CHAT, she had to go to a police station by herself in the none English speaking country. The guide didn't give us the Athens Acropolis Museum tickets we paid for. CHAT tour and the guide Dora Voukelatou didn't provide the same quality service as all the others, we never had any problem with Viator. CHAT didn't contact us about the pick up, we had to call them to find out. Finally they rudely refused to refund the tour nor the tickets we paid for. Vitor shouldn't include them as part of its service!

My wife and I have done about 10 or tours through Viator and this is by far the worst one. The tour only lasted about two hours and wasted time by having to go through explaining things in multiple languages. I was very disappointed and would not recommend this tour.
-
Though I had done this tour before, I totally enjoyed it this time because the guide, Dora, was very thorough, knowledgeable and informative. I ended up learning new facts altogether.
-
Great experience and would recommend. Downside was the hard sell on board for island tours. Lunch was good but it would be nice if water, at least was included.
-
The guide did not really talk about the historical background of the places of visit but talked more on religious information. Did not opt for the museum tour but many information seemed to be kept for the museum tour. Joined many Viator's tour all around the world, this is the most disappointing.
-
Great Birds eye view of Athens. Hits the highlights with a very knowledgeable guide. Great that they picked us up at our hotel to save a lot of time.
-
Our guide was modest and seriously served us. However, her English contained so strong accent that I could understand her 30%. Although I speak English as a second language, I never had such a problem by joining in the English tour...However, her personality was very nice.

This was Excellent! The tour guy guide was absolutely brilliant. A genius. Information was endless and accurate. Toutr was on time, buses were in excellent condition and people were very curtious.

Apart from sitting on the bus for an hour for hotel pick ups (my hotel was close to the first pick up spot, the the ‘terminal’ was just another 5 minute walk further this I had to sit on a bus for an hour before the start), we drove through traffic in circles on the panoramic tour before heading the the acropolis. The guide was hard to understand and difficult to follow. We did not get the pass to the museum at the end and this were done with the entire tour at 1045 am. Really I believe I would have done much better going on my own.
