We had a great time with Dimitris. He was so informative, personal and made our afternoon trip with the highlights of the city. He customized what we wanted to see and was very accomodating to ensure that we were satisfied. Dimitris gave us history, cultural insights and must-see sights with a personal touch. The tour was slow paced and terrific. He recommened some of his best restaurants and they were all great with local foods and service. Thank you Dimitris for the memories and great time! Folks - Ask for Dimitris.

I requested Dimitris to be our guide after reading positive reviews about him. Glad I did -- he did not disappoint. This was our first time in Athens and we covered a lot of ground prior to this tour. He customized the walking tour and took us to places we haven't been to. He also give us some local restaurant recommendations which were amazing. Thanks again Dimitris!

To start my first day journey in Athens with Spyros was time and money well spent and I highly recommend!! Get your walking shoes on because you will see a lot! And speak up if you need a minute or two of rest or to take a pictures because this guy will keep you on the move! ATTENTION : If you have physical limitations pertaining to distance, hills, or stairs , let him know. The long version: Spyros is down to Earth, pleasant and professional. Wander the streets and see the beauty of Athens with Spyros, you won’t be disappointed! If I were you it would be the first thing I do in Athens. Get the lay of the land while enjoying your city journey. See the hidden gyms this fantastic city has to offer. Your tour with Spyros will show you the mixed beauty of the modern and the ancient sights of Athens. Loved it because he took me places I could really FEEL the vibe of the city. Pros - he’s happy , chill but not boring, knowledgeable, very patient with picture taking and questions being asked, and he’s open to route changes if you’re interested in seeing something specific. Con- there were none😁😁😁

Spyros was a wonderful guide, we saw many interesting and beautiful parts of Athens we wouldn’t have seen otherwise, and learned much about the history of Athens and its development and Greek culture. Highest recommendation for Spyros!

I arrived in Athens 2 days before my official Greece tour began. I thought it would be fun to take an “Off the Beaten Track” to see things the tour won’t cover. The reviews were good. Unfortunately I was not lucky enough to get one of those good tour guides. First he was 45 minutes late. He was relatively new to Greece and I knew more Greek and Athen history than he did. There was limited narration. This is how the narration went: Tour guide: this is an old church. Me: How old? Guide: very old. He took me to the places every tourist goes: Suk, parliament; etc. he wanted to take me to the acropolis but I stopped the tour there. These were not off the beaten path places. Total waste of time, money and energy. I will ask a refund from TripAdvisor because the description of the tour was a misrepresentation. Save your money or be very careful who your guide is!!

This is a great non strenuous 2.5hr tour. Our guide was Maxime and he was fantastic. Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He came to meet us at our hotel. If you have never been to Athens this tour gives you a quick and easy orientation. We went back to some opf the sites 2 days later to revisit and do some shopping. The tour is inexpensive and really good. Ask for Maxime for your guide. You will be happy with him

This tour was a great decision on our first day. We had so much fun while learning the history of Greece walking the streets of Athens. Irini took us to the local spots with amazing views. She’s so pleasant and everyone greeted her along our journey. She was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Even after our tour, she recommended restaurants near our hotel that turned out to be the best ones we tried during our visit. This was our first time using With Locals, and think it’s going to be our first choice for local walking tours on our next trip anywhere they’re available. Thanks Irini ❤️

This was our first trip to Greece. Luckily for us our guide was Spiros Ioannis (it was like walking about with family) get ready for an off the totally beaten path tour, this man takes you to places that just sneak up on you at any given turn. I remember walking up along the Acropolis path thinking we're going there, then we ended up in this housing area that was just amazing (the builders of Athens, I think), you would never know it unless you knew of it, he's so refreshing, versed and a good soul. You are taken outstanding views, his energy, vibe is AMAZING!, True story we frequented this bar pardon my spelling YPPA it was just a great vibe, wicked music, GREAT RAKU? (at 11:00 am), turned out to be Spiro's spot as well. It was an absolute please Spiros, thank you. SIDE NOTE: So your appreciation a tip $ is always good!!. Let's face some of you are not that easy to take on tour. But do continue to go on tours, See the World and Tip.

A tour that sounds like it might repeat something you’ve seen, but instead you learn something new and different of the area. This was our 3rd tour of Athens and astonishing that we learned things about the Square's and sights that no one else had shared. They also take you to little gems and sights just a street over from the usual routes that are not to be missed.
