Athens Riviera is called the coastal area of Athens-Attica, a 60km route by the sea; a magnificent terrace of city of Athens to the Saronic Gulf. It forms a separate and interesting area, ideal for leisure, entertainment, sports and of course, cycling.
We pass Voula to reach Glyfada and the first marina of our tour. We enjoy the sea and the sun while we cycle next to coastline, to reach the “Agios Kosmas” marina which was built to host sailing at the 2004 Olympic Games. We reveal hidden chapels, we pass through the old “Elliniko” Athens aiport, the “Agios Kosmas” training center (training center of all Greece’s national teams) and we arrive at “Alimos” beach and then at one of the largest marinas of Greece, the “Alimos” marina.
Keep cycling along the coastline to see some beaches, parks and playgrounds, even people playing chess and finally we reach Flisvos area. First we learn some history visiting the park of “Nautical Tradition” and then we end the tour meeting the – state of the art – “Flisvos marina”. Cafe’s, restaurants, shops and of course some of the world’s best yachts, all can been seen here. We relax by the sea to enjoy Greek wine and delicious Greek delicatessen. Return and drop off at your hotel. Join this tour to explore the bright side of Athens. Join this tour away from the city center, where it’s hard to believe this is Athens.
