Lots of fun! What a cool experience this was. I would say that the ATV’s require your full attention when you’re going fast and if you haven’t had experience driving them before. The drive to the historic site had amazing 360 views of the mountains. There is no lunch provided and you definitely get hungry so be prepared and bring food!

This was interesting, not quite what we expected, but worthwhile. Actual ATV travel was about 1 hour in 2 legs totalling 20km, so if you want heavy ATV experience, not so much. BUT, travelled to a very good archeological site whereupon our guide was EXCELLENT in giving us significant Inca history. (i.e, he was much more than just a bike jockey.) Then we travelled to the salt mines, incredible scerary and 1000 year old process, very cool, again with good info from our guide. THINGS TO KNOW: Safety not a big worry, given the low speeds and desolate roads. The 250cc Honda bikes ran, but they were fairly well used, but sufficient for this. There is a fair amount of driving on this trip, maybe 80 minutes to arrive at start, 90 minutes to get back to the city after the end. However, the total trip lasted from 13:00 till after 19:00, so we had a solid 4 hours of activity in the middle, but allow for a later evening return time. The trip is pretty dusty, so dress accordingly, and I would suggest closed toed shoes, long trousers and sunglasses to keep dust from eyes. There is a fair bit of walking at both locations and you can take water or buy at a couple stops.

Very bad company first they over 30 minutes pick us up. Had everyone in office waiting. Next after they late need pick up employees for the tour and after that need get gas for the van more time waste. Get to atv I ask questions about atv and if it safe because they don't look safe. I told by guide don't worry about this. On top tour guide tell go fast and fast because we are late. Everyone is rush tour guide never with always faraway I get a crash and no medical help nothing they I pay for ATV get fix with no invoice and never tell what was broken. I ask go hospital nothing. They told me I have wait for tour end because other are on tour. So late company Pay for ATV with no invoice and made me pay in USA dollar only and cash only. And asked medical help told me can't help. As give ride hospital after tour they say no owner don't do that. No medical help , No bill for ATV Just come stealing from customer and give equipment that already broken and causes a crashed so they can make money. Crappy company don't used if want see video and photo how this company treat there customer let me know. Stay away from this company never used them. Don't used this company at all.

We loved this tour! It went very smoothly from pickup to drop off. The guide was great and very knowledgeable and kind! We rode ATVs for about an hour and a half total. My husband and I shared one because I’ve never driven one before, but after listening to the tutorial it truly didn’t seem hard at all. Took ATVs to Moray and the guide stopped to take great pictures for everyone on the way there. The ride through the mountains is absolutely beautiful. You take the bus to Maras and stop at a nice market store on the way to learn a little history about the salt and try some chocolates. Maras was an equally awesome place to see. So glad we took the time to do this while in Cusco, it was a great time. Took about a total of 5-6 hours. You will get dirty!

Learning to ride the atv was easy. Riding then was exhilarating. The Salineras de Maras is quite a sight; not to be missed.

This was one of my favorite experiences during my trip to Peru. We spent around 1.5 hours on ATVs, and the rest of the time was either exploring the sites or commuting by van. The ATVs are very simple to operate so do not worry if that is of concern to you. I do my best, but my Spanish comprehension is poor at the moment, and the guide was very good communicating to myself and others in English, which I am very grateful and appreciative that he did so. I spent much of my trip traveling by plane, bus, or car/van so being able to see the beauty of the Sacred Valley by ATV and feeling and breathing the fresh air was a much needed change. Although you will get quite dusty from the trail so keep that in mind when picking out what you will wear for this. If this is something you are physically able to do, I 100% recommend it! I can't tell you how many of my friends and family were jealous of the pictures I shared from this tour.

Fantastic tour! The pick up was easy, the van was very clean and nice. The ATVs were in great condition as well - not old junky ones like a different tour we did. The guide was great and fun! They accommodated everyone well. Highly recommend!
