Breviss was a superb guide. Yes, we saw some great things (1,000 year old Kauri tree!!), but more importantly we left with a greater appreciation of and respect for the Maori culture. Thank you.

This was a great overview of all that Auckland has to offer with the Māori culture at its core. The guide was steeped in the city’s history and native Māori. I was hoping for a bit more of the life of the Māori people and culture before the European explorers arrived. But overall, well done.

Ceilhe was a wonderful tour guide, as she not only knew Auckland and its environs well, but she talked a lot about her Maori heritage. We learned so much from her and especially liked our visit with her to the Auckland in Museum. It was a wonderful introduction to New Zealand!
-
The tour was good, allthough we had bigger expectations. Good tourguides as well and so was the bus. All concidered the price was a little too much and €150 a person would be a better price for a tour like this and the €237,= a person we have paid was really way overpriced.
-
The tour was not what was advertised. While there were charming aspects and the guides were friendly, the stops and the information included didn't line up with what was indicated as the tour. For example, we did not go to several of the places listed, nor did we see the cultural things indicated in the photos. While we had a nice time, it was not worth the price paid, and we were left a bit disappointed.

Although the terrible storms which battered their community and added issues with barnacles on the bottom of our cruise ship prevented us from ever reaching New Zealand, this family run small company were compassionate and kind to us over our cancelling our booking. I was also in a bit of a state due to other issues and perhaps not the easiest of people to deal with at that point. But they understood completely. No formality of a large tour company, just excellent ans kind personal contact. I wish I could have done the trip just to meet them , and I hope I can make it another time. I am sure it would have been a superb day

Our Maori tour with Ceillhe and Harry was one of true highlights of our trip to Australia and New Zealand. A prior reviewer (Vera M) captioned it best: "Soulful journey through Maori culture". Our trip to the west coast from Auckland included a rainforest, waterfall, black sand beach, nature center, lovely lunch and city sights and views. It was a wonderful day - but what made it wonderful were our hosts. Ceillhe and Harry's warmth and kindness enveloped our little group as they spoke of Maori customs and culture. By the end of the day we were all best friends. Truly, this was one of the best tours we have ever been on and we can't recommend Time Unlimited enough.

The knowledge and professionalism of the 2 guides, Ceillhe and Brev, was exceptional. Several couples in the small van had been unable to complete their long-anticipated cruise of NZ port cities due to biofouling on their vessel. The guides took note of this and really went out of their way to create a great group spirit throughout the day. They brought us to a stunning nature reserve on the West Coast, to Piha, including the beach where The Piano was filmed with a stop at a waterfall en route, to the Wintergarden restaurant in Auckland for a lovely lunch, to a marae that was built to honor deceased military soldiers, to Devenport and finished with a scenic view overlooking the harbor. I especially appreciated the plant knowledge and transmission of Maori cultural values that Ceillhe shared. She gifted us with a cd of traditional Maori music at the very end, so special! Fantastic to gain a sense of the history of the land and peoples of this part of the North Island. I appreciate Swain Tour's recommendation to do this tour. Highly recommend!

The day was amazing, hearing all the history and knowledge that Ceillhe had to share with us. Would definitely recommend and look forward to doing it again

Spending the day on a private tour with Ceillhe, who is not only knowledgeable and personable, created memories in our minds of a proud culture. From cityscapes, waterfronts, islands, beaches, partaking in a fabulous lunch, and a stop for some chocolates, made for a wonderful day. John, Bobbie, John, Lisa
