This was a great trip. We visited two beautiful cities. Sylvia was very nice and managed our trip well.

Bus was very comfortable.
Tour was on time.
Guide was good but not clear on exact meeting point.
Overall a good, but not great experience. -
Very lovely trip through the countryside. Avila and Segovia make a great day trip from Madrid.
Lots of history. Our guide was very good. -
This tour is a great way to see these great cities in a day. Very well organised day. Our guide Beatrice has excellent English and kept the group moving. My only criticism of the tour was that it includes the wall and tower in Avila but we were literally on the wall for 5 minutes. I think if we were given at least 15 mins to walk along a section it would have been more enjoyable. One and a half hours allocated for lunch so 15 mins from this time could be used on the walls or add half hour to the duration of the day and add that into Avila.

The pace was good. What we saw was fabulous. The guide Nouri was most helpful.
Suggestion: have a place to ask for food allergies. I could not eat some of the things served for lunch but the restaurant tried their best to accommodate me.
Highly recommend the trip and the tour company. Office is a nice place to wait and staff very helpful. -
The guide was wonderful. The day was amazing. This day trip from Madrid is a must if you have the time. Do the full day. We opted for the tapas and wine and then ordered a la cart off the menu for lunch. Avila’s history was Interesting and one highlight was waking on top of the walls of the city and walking on two or three towers of the 88 along the 2.2 KM of walls. Just incredible views and history.
Segovia was Incredible. Buy the tour option where you go into Alcazar castle. It’s amazing. It’s the castle Disney modeled their castle on and the rooms inside and history from the tour guide won’t disappoint. The Roman aqueducts in Segovia are well
Preserved. Both towns are quaint and weren’t crowded, but that’s likely due to our off season holiday. Gorgeous views all around. -
appears to me the tour guides need a vacation. Appears they re stressed and rush thru everything,
The ear phones provided are cut-out 50% of the time when waling. Dont have time to really take it all in
They take you to a few areas for toilet break but most are tourist traps
dont expect a quality tour, do a private tour instead -
This is a wonderful tour from the walled city of Avila to the aqueduct at Segovia. Churches, palaces - so much history.

Julia Travel through Viator did a great job with the tour. Everything was as expected - they delivered what they said they would. The guide was superb and was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I was impressed. My only comment, more of a recommendation really is if you are taking this tour, do the lunch on your own! You will have plenty of time even though some reviews suggest you won't. We were given 1 hour and 45 minutes to eat lunch and get to meeting place which is 15 minutes from starting point. When you get the included lunch, there is no choice, they just serve it. And, quite honestly, the food was just ok. The people who ate lunch on their own and then met up with the group for the tour had a much better experience. But, bus was clean and smooth, tour guide excellent. Would book again.
