War tour starts from Invicta Travel office. You can be picked up from your hotel upon request also. On the way to the Tunnel Museum , roughly 30 minutes drive, our tour guide will show you and explain things important to understand the history of the fall of Yugoslavia and Bosnian Independence. Driving through the city , you will see one of the points of the biggest masacre that happened in 94 and 95, the Markale marketplace. There is a memorial for children killed during the Siege on our way, also. Heading to the Tunnel Museum, the guide will show you the famous street, known as Sniper Alley, and tell you the stories of people running over these streets. Once you get to the Museum, and you see the Map of the Siege, our guide will make sure you get better visualisation of the Siege.Short movie about shelling the city and Tunnel construciton is also must see in this war Museum. We get to know how and why we dug it, how long it took, but most importantly we understand what it meant for Sarajevo people. We spend there about an hour. We take drive back to the city on different way, through the Republic of Srpska entity, to see and hear the stories about invisible borders. Next stop will be famous Old Jewish Cemetery which was the front line during the war and was used as an artillery positon by Bosnian Serbs. Yellow fortress will leave you breathless, amazing view on Sarajevo, and also on many cemeteries, made during the last war. Our guide will take you even higher, on Vidikovac view point, where we can make a short break, drinking Bosnian coffee or beer if you prefer. The view is magnificent. The last stop will be Olympic complex, with its cemetery from 90. You will hear the story about Olympic games held in 84, also. After 3 hour of tour youll head back to our office, enjoying the view from your back seat. Our professional guide will be pleased to answer any question you have.
