Santiago was friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. He coordinated drop off of the bikes at our Airbnb in the afternoon and was super easy about picking it up from where we were at in town later in the evening. Riding the e-bikes were a great way to experience the different areas in El Calafate that would have been too much to walk. Santiago provided a map with different areas of interest which we were able to ride to. Having the e-bikes were super helpful for going uphill and on the unpaved roads. After a long day of riding, our legs felt great!

My wife and I rented these e-bikes made from bamboo to explore the town of El Calafate. They were delivered to our hotel on a timely basis, completed with helmet and lock. They were comfortable, as the bamboo frame had a suspension effect, and as the seat was well cushioned. The pedal-assistance lasted for the whole day, and made it easier for us to go uphill, all the way to the Glaciarium. The bamboo construct and chopper styling attracted positive attention with a number of passerbys telling us that these bikes looked good and asked us where to rent them. The only one negative was that the helmet provided was a tad tight.

We rented 2 electric bamboo bikes from Santiago, who went above & beyond to ensure we had a good time. Delivered directly to our hotel. We explored the lake shore & the town with ease as maps & routes are provided. Thoroughly recommend.

Lago Argentina at El Calafate is breathtaking. Taking a bike ride around the lake is full of fun and beautiful views. We appreciated having the electric bikes because we wanted an active leisure activity rather than a workout, especially in the stretch where you ride on the highway. The staff at Bamboo/EBBikes was great. We messaged them via WhatsApp when we were eating lunch, and they delivered the bikes to the restaurant. When we finished eating, we discovered one bike had a flat tire. After trying to inflate the tire at a nearby gas station, we contacted them again because there aire would not stay in the tire. They arrived to the gas station with a new bike within 10-15 minutes. It was inconvenient the tire wasn’t right to begin with, but that type of thing is expected to happen from time to time. So what mattered to us was that the staff corrected the problem quickly and were very friendly about it. I would definitely rent these bikes again if I were to return to El Calafate!

Spent a perfect afternoon on Santiago’s great bamboo mountain bikes riding along the Lago Argentino cycle path and in up to the Glacier Visitors Centre (well worth a visit). Three eMTBs and one regular MTB were in good working order, no issues. Santiago delivered the bikes to our hotel. Fantastic way to spend an afternoon in and around El Calafate!
