A very very easy ride. We opted for an hour ride and it was pleasant. If you’re an experienced rider, you might want something more adventurous. It was perfect for us. Adrian was very informative and super patient with the inexperienced (I wouldn’t have been as patient) riders.

The last time I did this activity, my 2 boys were not born yet. Now, they are both teenagers. We had a blast. The ride plus the view was calming and therapeutic. My horse, Bucky was great. This a great family bonding activity if you are in Banff. Book early.

From the pictures, it makes it appear you are right by the water but you are only by the Bow River for a small part of the tour, and that too at a further distance than seen in the pictures. It is a beautiful tour of the forest and with the crisp air it makes for a nice experience. I however had a rotund and hungry horse where the saddle slid off and I almost fell off the horse completely. The poor tour guides had to help me hand mount the horse which at my age and inexperience was a challenge! My husband with a bad back probably should not have done this in the first place but he did so at my insisting (so I will be making it up to him). It is a lovely and unique experience still and the tour guides were wonderful-my comments would be maybe having an amplification system that wouldn't scare the horses so that people in the back of the ride can hear the history from the front tour guide, and to take my horse Bjorn (who was gorgeous but a snacker) out of the rotation because the saddle doesn't fit him well and is prone to falling off. I have a sense of humor fortunately and thought it was funny but my husband nearly had a heart attack seeing me falling off the horse, grabbing on to Bjorn's mane so I wouldn't twist my ankle in the stirrup. Thank you especially to Iyana (?sp) for saving me! She was a sweetheart. Everyone else on the tour seemed to have an enjoyable and uneventful experience!

The worst customer service I ever seen, Not recommended at all. They were very rude, they didn’t let my kid to have a his horse riding, which we had appointment, and we paid for the service.

I did horseback riding with my two daughters. We were all first-timers and were very scared but wanted to try it. Clear instructions were provided prior to the experience. Our Guide was very knowledgeable and cognizant of all riders' needs. She created a fun and friendly environment and ensured all riders were comfortable during the ride. Mountains and Bow River views were amazing on our way! I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves horses!

Wholesome and different way of exploring banff trails. Guides and horses were amazing at taking us along the trails. Educated on some of the history and funny quirks of banff. Was a great time and 100% worth the value! Will be looking into the back trail rides for next season! Thanks again!

A great family experience in a fantastic location. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. It was a nice touch that each rider was individually introduced to their horse. A very relaxed atmosphere. Our ride leader was very friendly and informative. I would thoroughly recommend this.
