Know More about this tour

After hotel pickup in central Bangkok (if chosen) head to the waterfront to board the luxurious riverboat that will take you on a leisurely ride along the Chao phraya river, a major Thai river that flows from the city into the Gulf of Thailand.

Once youve boarded, settle into a seat in the boats comfortable, warmly furnished dining room, or watch the brightly lit Bangkok skyline glide by from the deck. Cruise slowly along the river, passing under bridges and right in front of two of Bangkoks most famous riverfront landmarks the Temple of dawn, known as Wat arun, a Buddhist temple that dates back to the 17th century, and the Grand palace, the official residence of the King of Thailand (and historically the King of Siam) since the late 1700s.

When youre ready to eat, head to the large buffet of Thai dishes and desserts. Your meal is accompanied by a live band and other local entertainers.

Your evening ends at River City Pier where you boarded the boat or transfer back to your Hotel if chosen.

This did not meet my expectation. I was hoping to see Bangkok by night with a leisurely dinner but it turned out to be a party trip. I did not join this to be part of a singing and dancing party. I could have done it for far less cost elsewhere in Bangkok.

I was visiting Bangkok for the first time and decided to book a tour for a Dinner Cruise on the Chao Phraya River and waited excited along with 4 other friends after this trip in the Hotel lobby for 2 hours after be picked but nobody from the company contacted us, I have sent a few emails to Viator and never received a feedback. There are bad manners not to reply on post that are sending to you even in the case of a complaint. I can not advise anyone to use this company after my experience in communicating with Viator

This was a great way to see the temples all lit-up. The food was good and the entertainment ok. It was relaxing and enjoyable.

The cruise is chaotic. There are SO many people doing SO many cruises as to make it rather unpleasant. But the food is good, if somewhat hurried. You get the feeling that you are part of a process to push through as many people as possible, not the ideal way to spend a nice quiet evening meal in Bangkok.

should have more Thai food like mango stickers rice and more thai deserts. Entertainer was great, we have a chance to dance with the group and that brightens our day

It was our last night in Bangkok where we thought we had a romantic dinner on this beautiful river. But instead of that, we were parked on cruise with ilmannered people for dinner, who seemed to have never seen food!!

Really fun experience on board the dinner cruise.

    Pros:
First, Food was good. Not many selection but the choice is good enough and it is indeed delicious. I really love the spicy shrimp soup and fresh steamed prawns too. They replenish fast too.

Second, Entertainment was amazing! There was a mini band, singer, host, cabaret show with really gorgeous looking individuals, song and dance and the finale was a rounds of dance. Really amazing fun time there after the meals.

Smoking area available and toilets are clean too. Thumbs up for these.

The night view, unless you’re sitting along the window, you won’t be able to see the view largely. But you’re still able to see it.

    Cons:
No line for entering the cruise. It was messy. Everyone pushing one another to get to the entrance.
What could be done better to solve this, probably, having neat lines to board the cruise which is safer too. Safety would be better went walking up and down the boardwalk. Saw an elderly man with walking stick and I freaked out. Food for thought.

Overall!!! Good experience!!! Might do it again but surely I’ll share my amazing experience with my friends.

Unfortunately heavy rain for virtually the entire cruise made this less enjoyable than we had hoped since it was very difficult to take photos of Bangkok's night lights. Food was ok but nothing special and less organized than we have seen other places. Live music and dancers were entertaining.

Very good value for money. The food was delicious and plenty. We had drag queens which was delightfu and funnyl to watch.
A must see if you are in Bangkok.

The trip didn’t start well as the arrangement was to be pick up at the Hotel at 5.30p.m. After an hour of waiting the hotel concierge phoned the company and was given a number for the driver who he also phoned to be told he was in traffic. We were about to give up and go back to our room when the driver turned up at 7.10 p.m. we understand that Bangkok traffic is extremely busy but this waiting time we felt was a bit long. We arrived at the terminal at 7.45 p.m. for an 8p.m. departure. The crowds were horrendous and it was very chaotic with very little direction. We eventually boarded the boat about 8.20 and were shown to our table. The cruise got under way and we were told the buffet was open- another free for all with lots of pushing to get to the buffet. By the time we managed to get a plate of food and back to our table the food was cold and very unappetising. The entertainment was good during the evening but an overall disappointment and certainly not worth the money.
