The combined trip from Bangkok to Samui includes a ride by coach to Chumphon where you will switch to the Lomprayah high speed catamaran. Cruise further to Koh Samui with short stopovers on Koh Tao and Koh Phangan to pickup/drop-off other transferring guests. Get dropped off at Na Phra Lan Pier at Mae Naam Beach on Koh Samui from where you can enjoy a convenient transfer to your hotel by booking our drop-off service.

This gets 3 stars because I got to my destination safely with few complications. However, I would not recommend this as a method from getting from Bangkok to Koh Samui and I would never do it again. You start at 5:20 in the morning and are shuffled onto a big bus about two blocks from the travel agency office (there isn't really a person guiding you, just pointing you in a general direction). Once you get on the "Lomprayah Coach" you barely have any room and the toilet is absolutely disgusting. Not to mention, you're stuffed on this bus for about 6 hours. From there, you wait in line to catch the ferry which is less than glamorous, and again, packed. The ferry also makes about 3 stops before reaching Koh Samui and there was a lot of waiting at each stop for passengers to get on and off. It wasn't very comfortable and by the time I reached Koh Samui I was completely exhausted. All in all, I would spend the extra $50 and fly.
