  • Good beach trip and the boat crew and driver were very friendly.

  • Overall a great experience. We arrived by ship and the tour representative was waiting exactly as described. Driver to/from the beach location was very friendly and informative. Beach was clean and not overcrowded. For the turtle experience, the boat pulled up close to shore and you had to step in thigh-high water and climb on a ladder to get in. There were 17 passengers on the boat, consisting of 4 families with children, and 2 crew members. Once we arrived at the snorkeling location, the crew members realized that they did not have enough life jackets. Several of the passengers with older children decided to go in the water without them, but the majority and the ones with small children had to wait while the crew asked other boats to share them with us. This was the biggest negative of the day, but once we had life jackets and were able to get in the water, we saw several sea turtles and a large sting ray. The crew would throw out some food to attract the turtles and would point out when they would see them so that we could swim over to where they were. There were about 6 other boats parked in the area, obviously where all other tours also come for this excursion. We had about 20-30 minutes in the water with the turtles and then re-boarded the boat for a short ride over to the shipwrecks. One of the crew got into the water to guide everyone over to the shipwrecks and explain what we were looking at. Approx 20-30 minutes here and then it was back on the boat for the ride back to the beach. They offered rum punch and fruit juices to everyone during the ride. The remainder of the day was spent at the beach, which had a restaurant/bar and offered lunch for 10 a plate. Although it had nothing to do with the tour, there were people on the beach offering jet ski rides and some other water sport activities. Some friends we were traveling with decided to jet ski and the man who was selling the rides led us to believe that our friend had already reserved and paid for a jet ski for us so we talked one of our kids into going for a ride. When they were finished, the man came over and said that will be 50 for 25 min for a ride that we had not wanted to do in the first place. We felt scammed and told him so. He also tried to tell our friend that he damaged the jet ski and wanted additional money for the scratches - of course our friend refused. Beware of these people!
Like I said, overall it was a great experience and the kids LOVED seeing the sea turtles. I would suggest bringing your own mask/snorkel if you have them.

  • Woman in charge rude n not helpful with solving the smallest issue. Should not b working in guest relations. Rough entry from beach into boat. Easily hurt something. Actually I did. Got a nasty bruise from the ladder. Way too crowded site. Could have walked into the entire thing. Saw someone snorkeling floating on a noodle. Much better idea. Poorly run outfit.

  • We loved the beaches and water in Barbados! This tour offered a great location of the beach with beach chairs, hammocks and umbrella's included in your price. Bar service was good with fair pricing, however we didn't order any food because we had lunch plans elsewhere. The snorkeling was fun, but nothing spectacular. We barely went 50 yards from the beach to snorkel. We felt rushed while snorkeling by our boat captain Shem, but the guide Clayin the water with us was very friendly, and allowed us to stay longer in the water. We did see lots of fish and a few sea turtles. However we did encounter an issue on the snorkeling boat which left us with a bad experience and review for our trip. A member on our snorkel boat laid his Sunglasses Maui Jim's on his bag while snorkeling. When we all returned to the boat his sun glasses were surprisingly missing. The only person who remained on the boat while snorkeling was the captain Shem. We strongly believe he took the sunglasses. We made a complaint to our bus diver, also with Viator, and we were told this wasn't the first complaint of the week for Captain Shem. So a word of advice for future travelers on this excursion... DO NOT TAKE OR LEAVE ANY
VALUABLES OUT FOR PEOPLE WITH STICKY FINGERS. Sadly to say our parade in Barbados was rained on by this incident.

  • This was a good excursion for the price. The staff on the snorkel boat were both super friendly and helpful. The snorkel guy Mike was hilarious and very helpful! I did not see the amount of turtles I was hoping for and you don't get very close to the turtles at all. This also has to do with the amount of people that snorkel in that area. There were about 10 boats full of snorklers there. The day at the beach was great though! The beach at Pirate's cove was the prettiest beach I saw the whole week of cruising different islands. The tour guide that picked us up from the boat and drove us to the excursion was great!

  • Short bus ride from the cruise terminal. Amazing beach especially the bar area. A lot of the cruise staff hang out here and there is a lot of activity. We had lunch and the flying fish sandwich was very good, Great value for the . We will be back.

  • Loved the snorkel at both sites - we saw turtles at one site and lots of fish at the shipwreck. Would highly recommend. The crew was great.

  • Wow! What a great trip. Pirates Cove was very close to the docks. We got tons of time in the water, snorkeled over the wrecks and also saw and swam with several Green Turtles. The men on the boat that took us out snorkeling were fantastic. Knowledgeable, fun and really love what they do. The rum punch was a great touch. Strongly recommend this particular tour.

  • Have done the turtle adventure before and it is very nice. This trip just did the beach since the sand is white and powder soft. Using snorkel you can find dozens of silver dollar shells in the roped off swimming area. You can rent jet skis, etc all from the beach. The bar and beach staff is great. Have clean restrooms, shower, etc. Was on Carnival Cruise 2nd year on same trip, we visited St. Thomas, Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Kitts and St. Maarten. This was the best beach. Shuttle trip is only about 10-15 min from ship. I highly recommend using Viator and booking this adventure!

  • Great experience! We couldn't have been happier. Our driver from the port was great and even took us for a little extra tour around town pointing out places of interest on the way back. Turtle swim and snorkeling was fantastic, we had turtles all around us within minutes of arriving at the site. Snorkeling guides were great! Beach area was fantastic. Exceeded our expectations at a great price! Highly recommend!
