  • Great food, great company, and super knowledgeable. I love learning about the food, the culture, and the people in such a fun way. You leaved stuffed and happy. A must for traveling through such a wonderful foodie city!

  • This was one of the most intriguing and educational tours I have taken! It was great to walk around the various Barcelona neighborhoods and have a tapa/glass of wine that was the specialty of that particular bar. We learned the difference among the various hams e.g., Serrano and Iberico.

  • Loved this tour so much! We had a small group of 6 which was perfect. We ate many different types of tapas, having them explained to us at each place, along with a matching wine. The quality of the food was 5 star, with the wines also being amazing. I personally only drink red wine, however I really enjoyed all the white wines on this tour as well! We had a vegetarian on our tour, who was able to eat at all the places.

At the end of our tour, Xavier gave us a list of recommended tapas places. My husband and I visited four of the places and all were incredible! Such a good experience to experience the 'real' Spain!

  • Javier was wonderful, gave lots of info about our food and wine and also about the culture in Barcelona and in Spain. We met some really nice fellow travelers and went to places we would have never found on our own. The tapas and wine were delicious as well!

  • We booked this for the first day of our Spain vacation. It was a perfect start. A tour of 4 restaurants in different neighborhoods, each with a wine and food from different regions of the country. It was informative/interesting, delicious, and great fun!!!! Quick Tip: the more you put in, the more you get out. We had a great group of strangers, and became friends over food and drink, with lots of laughs.

  • I wasn and #39;t really sure what to expect going into it. But I have to say this is probably one of my most favorite things I did on our trip. Our host was so personable and knowledgeable. We went to 7 different places and tried everything we could get our hands on. This really shaped the rest of our trip

  • We went as a group of 8 and all of us thoroughly enjoyed it. Brilliant wines and variety of food with a friendly guide who even gave us tips about where to go for the rest of our holiday. I sometimes worry that a tour like that wont have enough tasters but they were plenty, we were all full of food and definitely feeling the wine! It was a real highlight!

  • An awesome tour. So glad we did on our first day.now we know what tapas is truly about Javier was so much fun and educational.

  • An excellent and most enjoyable tour with Janvier who was entertaining, informative and passionate about the Tapas history and cuisine and about the people and culture of Barcelona and Spain. Due to our itinerary, we were not able to do this tour until near the end of our stay and would strongly recommend doing it as one of the first experiences in Barcelona as it introduces you to the areas of the City, exposes you to a number of key sites to visit and provides a culinary basis for further exploration!

  • Our Guide was super! His personality and knowledge of the local neighborhoods we visited...and having a small group made this tour a highlight of the many places we were visiting. The food was tasty, the wines were good and the company was terrific. Thank you so much for this adventure! P.S, We actually found one of the neighborhoods again and when back for more fun!
