Meet your guide in central Barcelona, strap on your helmet and then pedal off through the streets. The pace is leisurely, allowing you to hear your guides commentary and soak up the sights as you go.
Depending on the order of the days itinerary, perhaps begin with a cycle along the seafront to Port Vell. Pause to snap photos of the historical port and beach before continuing on to the Columbus Monument, a towering statue dedicated to Christopher Columbus, and La Barceloneta.
Next, pedal up the famous La Rambla boulevard. Soak up the hustle and bustle as you pass by the food and flower stalls, and then turn off down a side street into the vibrant neighborhood of Las Ramblas to explore lesser-known streets and Plaa Reial.
Continue on to the Gothic Quarter (Barri Gotic). Ride through the shaded alleys and perhaps pause for photos by the impressive Barcelona Cathedral. Then, cruise through the bohemian district of El Born on route to Parc de la Ciutadella. Pedal along the idyllic, palm-lined promenades and look out for La Cascada, a Baroque fountain created by architect Josep Fontsre.
Make one of your final stops of the tour by the citys most iconic structure: La Sagrada Familia. Marvel at its multicolored towers and intricate structure, and learn about its fascinating history and modernist architect Antoni Gaudi from your guide.
Other places visited include the Olympic Village (Vila Olimpica), the Arc de Triomf and Gaudis Casa Batll, as well as Passeig de Grcia, Plaa de Catalunya and Plaa Sant Felip Neri.
Your tour then concludes back at the original departure point.
