I scheduled this trip after being here for a week. I regret not doing it sooner. Hugo did an amazing job telling us the history of every street we walked down, making sure to tell us where it was in relation to the Romans, and medieval times. I had no clue I was steps away from so much for so long, and I'm kicking myself for not doing it sooner. The highlight tour was 5 hours and ended at 1, exactly like he said. We didn't have to rush to get to our Montserrat tour at 2, which was very nice. Our Montserrat tour guide, Sasha, was excellent. He kept us entertained, informed, and making sure we understood the significance of the monastery as a whole. This package, especially the monastery, was the absolute best part of my trip. And everyone I talk to is going to hear about my awesome guides and the amazing sights.

The local guides were very good. We did a SpaIn tour that started in Barcelona. Julia Travel is a joke. Airport p.u. in Barcelona was fine. Had a good hotel picked by J travel. Barcelona tour was 8 am the next morning. We had to go to the office to meet the bus. No one knew where it was. Finally found a cab driver that knew. So paid cab fare. Breakfast at hotel included. Couldn't get it because breakfast started at 730. Tour across town at 8. Before tour started confirmed with office that we had a 9 am pick up for Sun. We had Julia provided train tkts for 1 pm to Madrid. Went on a 5 hour tour. Back at Julia office the employee told me she still wasn't sure the person scheduling never called her back That was the first 24 hours. Every day was something else

Great tour! Our tour guide was amazing! I highly recommend it. The views are stunning. I love that we had a two hour break in between the highlight tour and Montserrat to go grab lunch. The day was perfect. No complaints at all.

Going up to Monserrat and the beauty of the rock formations. We also enjoyed Mount Juic although there was a lot of walking and very hilly.

  • 05-Jul-2022

I would definitely recommend taking the tour of Monserrat. These mountains are amazingly different from any I’ve ever seen. Once at the top, of course the views are amazing.

We enjoyed the overview of Barcelona which included a walking tour. Very Lovely. The Monserrat portion was extremely rushed. Directions were not very clear at times. Shops closed at 6 pm or just before. Recommend giving more time

I hope I don't run out of space. I wish I could give him more stars because he totally deserves it. First, the walking part in the morning with Eduardo was better than FANTASTIC! He gave me so much information like about the flags, St. George, Santa Eulalia, all about Monjuric Casle and so much more. I, as well as many others, had no idea about Valentine's day. Even how Holy week begins. When I mentioned what I learned about picasso people were amazed. I enjoyed the tour soooooo much. When I went on the second part and on a different tour the next day I already knew somethings because we talked about everything. You definitely have to take it and with Eduardo if possible. He even gave me information on other things to do on my visit. Then Gabby in the afternoon was terrific. I enjoyed montserrat mountain. I learned a lot then also, but the view was incredible. So was the view in the morning. And let's not forget the exceptionally great customer service in the morning! What an all around great group of people. Thank you for being a part of and helping to make my visit be a reason to come back.
