Eric was a great host and the food and drinks he picked for this experience were up to the gourmet level. The three restaurants for tapas tasting were very welcoming and we had our spots reserved even if we arrived 10 minutes sooner.

We had a wonderful experience in Barcelona with our guide, Alex, she was very knowledgeable about the wines and regions where they come from and tapas as well as their customs and history of area.

Great experience! Eric was a great guide, food was tasty (bear in mind this is not traditional tapas but rather modern version with a twist), recommendations were super useful (what sites to visit, where to eat churros/paella etc). Definitely recommended!

Our tour guide, Hector, was great! He gave us some history of each area we visited, explained all of the wine and tapas to us and even made sure that our food allergies were accommodated at each stop. I cannot have gluten or dairy so he had separate tapas for me at each stop. My friend has a shellfish allergy and he made sure that she could eat safely everywhere. I read the reviews of many tapas and wine walking tours before choosing this one and am so glad I chose this one for our group of six. We all agreed that this was definitely a highlight of our trip!

Feliciano Dominguez was our tour guide and he was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming! He taught us about the history of the area and delighted us with local, gourmet food and beverages. He gave us some amazing tips on local artisans and points of interest. I would highly recommend Devour tours and Feliciano!

We had a most wonderful time! We met and became friends with people from around the world, found a favorite wine (not on the market anywhere). Would highly recommend this tour! Eric our guide was GREAT!

We were so excited to head on this tour having done several before. First things first Mick our tour guide was great, very knowledgeable and gave a wonderful history of the food and Barcelona. However we were a bit sad at the quality and quantity of some of the dishes. One dish was the UK's equivalent of potato salad with tuna which is ok but again being served a dish which uses the restaurant leftovers from the night before was a bit sad considering the price of the tour and the bread with tomato spread had such a thin layer of the tomato it was again disappointing. The second place we went, one dish wee were served was cold hard cheese and artichoke with crisps on the side. Again paying over 450 euros per person for our group of 4 this seemed like a cop off for the tour and restaurant. We even asked if there was an option to have a few more the dishes that were excellent but were told no. Overall we didn't think it was worth the money we paid considering the term gourmet is used.

This 3-hourish tour was actually an add on filler for a gap we had in our itinerary but turned out to be our favorite experience from our mother/daughter trip to Spain, which is saying a lot given we had a fantastic vacation overall! While the food and drinks were outstanding, it was likely our delightful guide, Hector Limones Alvarez, and our amazing fellow guests that made this such a delight. Hector was very knowledgeable and explained the background of the tapas and beverages we enjoyed as well as the venues we visited in such an informative and entertaining style, while also being a good sport with our joking and prying into his personal life. Our group seemed to click and within minutes were like old friends laughing, eating, and drinking together. And walking, of course. What could be more fun?
