Discover the astonishing work of nature in Istrian underground! The Baredine cave is the first speleological object and the first geomorphological natural monument valorised for tourist visits. In 1973 the members of Pore's Caving Club Proteus went to the lower part of the cave where they discovered a passage which made it possible for them to go as far as the underground lakes. You will be excited going into the 60m deep cave, walking down the stairs through five halls and five galleries passing by the stone sculptures of stalagmites and stalactites perfectly shaped thousands of years by the water. During the pleasant 40-minute walk, you will learn and witness what time and water can create under the ground. This unique geomorphological monument will leave you breathless.
