I really enjoyed the tour, the guides were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The time was used well and we were able to enjoy all the places we stopped at. The food provided for the lunches was delicious and very generous in portion sizes. Overall I feel it was very good tour deal and the price was very good.

The 2 day tour hits the high points if you have never been to China (or even if you have !). While both days were enjoyable the second, which for me was the Great Wall, Jade store, Ming tomb and tea ceremony was the better - and I think its guide dependent. Our guide, Paul, was funny, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The Great Wall of course was spectacular and awe-inspiring; conversely the Ming tomb was a bit disappointing. The obligatory tours to stores (in this case Jade and tea) were actually ok and overall the day was excellent. The hotel pick-ups and drop-offs are naturally quite time consuming because of the traffic.
In somewhat of a contrast, the first day - Tiananmen Square, Palace Museum, Forbidden City, Chinese Medical Center, Temple of Heaven, Pearl factory and the Summer Palace - spent too much time at the pearl store (45 min) and not nearly enough time at the Summer Palace which was really worth a visit (only 1 hour). The guide (Vik) was (I believe) knowledgeable but was difficult to hear as he spoke softly. He spent time pointing at a map of the place we were in instead of letting us walk around the sites/sights. The Chinese medicine place was a bit boring too. So while the actual interesting places were great, the reason for 4 stars and not 5 was that Vik asked us for tips at the end and watched over us while we completed evaluations on the bus - I didn't like that. Paul on the second day did not do that at all so he was much more enjoyable.

The first day, visit to the Wall, was lackluster. Regular guide, many shopping stops but a magnificent Great Wall. The second day was much better. Splendid guide named David. He made the city tour delightful with a clear and understandable English. Awesome sightseeings. Worth the money

We saw alot of great sites in a short time. Most were well on timing, some we felt rushed but overall it was a terrific overview of Beijing. The medicine is an opportunity to sell you herbs and the free foot massage was well appreciated but 20 tip was expected. The pearl tea and jade stops do give some information but mainly a store to purchase.

This was a great 2day tour with excellent English speaking guides. The lunches that were included were a pleasant surprise. Both days we had several different dishes that were very tasty. We covered a lot of ground in 2 days at a great price.

The operator VisitOurChina operates with drivers that do not have a commercial license. Our bus was pulled over and we were waiting for over two hours for another bus, missed most of our toor and almost missed my flight. They also take you to places that are not on the itinerary for you to buy things.

Visiting the traditional medical center felt like a scam. We actually fell for it since it was the first stop. Ended up paying more than the tour. I was it for worn. Got my experience and will advice to be watchful for these un wanted stops . They take time away from Main events. Next time a private tour would be better .

The places the tour visits for the most part are incredible - highlights being the Great Wall and the Forbidden City. The tour does take you to other places where they seem to only push you to buy something (pearl store, jade factory, tea house and a massage therapy center). All 4 places were boring as we were not interested in purchasing anything so found them to be a waste of time. Time that could have been spent at the Great Wall and the Summer Palace, which felt shortened. The guides were nice, knowledgable and spoke good enough English, but always felt as if they were in a hurry and therefore hurried us everywhere. The lunch provided with the tour was decent. Soda and water was not included with the lunch. Overall, price of tour was good, but they need to eliminate taking you to non-historical sites.
