  We visited Beijing with our 15, 11 & 8 yo children and were shown around by April. April was very friendly and spoke excellent English (Graduate student in English) and was a hit with our children - we all found her very approachable and answered all our questions. Importantly, she seemed to understand just how much detail/info to deliver to maintain interest without the kids' eyes glazing over. There was a separate driver (Mr Wang) and we were comfortable in their 7-seater minivan. We visited the Great Wall at Mutianyu on day 1 followed by a tour through a Hutong in the afternoon, then on day two we visited Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace. With lunch stops, this was about the right amount of tourism for our family. April was able to show us nice restaurants for lunch stops, where everyone could find something they enjoyed at a very reasonable price.

  We were a group of six who arrived in Tianjin by cruise ship on October 30, 2019. I set everything up in advance with Leo and he was great to work with on the planning of our itinerary. It was obvious that he had shared all the planning with April, because everything went smoothly, just like we discussed in our emails. April went above and beyond. She kept us on schedule with never making us feel rushed. She explained everything in advance so we always knew what to expect. She even helped us get checked into the hotel and made sure everything was ok before she left for the evening. Then she met us at the hotel early the next morning to help us get a breakfast we could take with us on the road. I highly recommend Leo’s Private Tours and ask for April, because she is awesome!

  We went on this tour primarily for our daughter to get to know her home country's roots and history... and we were not disappointed! April was a fantastic guide - very knowledgeable, and was very much able to shift between speaking English and Mandarin Chinese to convey each place's background and historical perspective. She was very effective in our time management, and got us into very crowded sites quickly, while at the same time, "taking the road less travelled" in each location, for a more relaxed experience, and great photo opportunities. My wife and I have been to all the locations previously, and yet we were enlightened on many historical facts we did not know. Our driver Mr. Sun was courteous, prompt, helpful, and friendly all throughout, despite the heavy crowds and tough parking situations. There were no hidden fees, nor the feeling that we were being rushed. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly! We highly recommend both April and Mr. Sun!

  We had a combination of a tour through Beijing highlights as well as a private driver service to take us to Jinshanling - an absolutely amazing section of the Great Wall. The company was incredibly easy to deal with, patient with our itinerary changes, and provided a lovely guide - Cindy - for our day in Beijing. Mr. Ma, our driver, was incredibly polite, easy-going, and gave us great recommendations for food. The rates for excursions were very reasonable and we will definitely be recommending to friends who make the trek here. Well done!

  We booked a 2 day private Tour in Beijing. We visited Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Temple of Heaven, Great Wall and Summer Palace. Our English speaking tour guide was Helen and what a nice surprise to have a guide that is simply Amazing! Helen exceeded all our expectations and went the extra mile to ensure that our trip was most memorable and enjoyable. For example, totally unsolicited, she brought her personal high tech camera and took amazing pictures at the Great Wall. She knew all the best spot! Helen is so so friendly that we wish she was continuing the journey with us on our way to Shanghai....She was almost considered family. Her driving partner was also excellent and work well together. We would highly recommend Helen to anybody visiting Beijing as she is really special.

  My review comes a little late, but still worth it. We had an excellent tour with April and her driving partner. April is knowledgeable, attentive, professional, kind, patient and fun. There was not a single glitch during the two days. It was a fascinating master class in Chinese culture and history. I highly recommend April!

  Loved Beijing! Our tour guide,Cactus and driver were wonderful... Very attentive and helped us understand the beautiful areas that we visited. The tour company was very responsable, responsive and puntual. No hidden fees, no rush and no issues with agreement.... So grateful... We are from Puerto Rico... we dream of returning..

  Booked a 2 day private transfer for Mutianyu, Summer Palace as well as Beijing Botanical Garden with Leo's Tours. The team replied fast with quotations via email, clear and transparent prices. Transaction was smooth, no other hidden charges and "extra service" - bringing you to shop in souvenir stalls and etc. Everything was accordingly to what my family wanted and discussed, no hard selling as well. Even though my family speaks mandarin, we do not require an English speaking guide, but our appointed Driver for the 2 days - Wang Shi Fu provided a service more than what a driver should do. Such as explaining the history and story if we came across any building or street while we're on the way to our attractions. He took very good care of us...bought our tickets and made sure we are well taken care of. I will like to thank him for being such an amazing person and the effort he places in us! And Thank you so much Leo's Team ! I will definitely recommend you guys to my family/friends! :)

  This is a late review - Susan accompanied us for 2 days in November 2018, she took us around in our own pace and plans. She spoke very good english, explained to us the history behind all the places that we visited and took us shopping too!! She was very patient and kind and very cheerful. Glad we had her on my first trip in Beijing! 10 stars for her hospitality 💕
