Know More about this tour

With everyone on board at 08:30, the day begins with a two hour drive from Dublin to Belfast. Sit back and watch Dublin city fade into the background as we enter the green Irish countryside and receive a primer to the history and culture of Northern Ireland from your guide.
Half way to Belfast we'll leave the highway and make a short pit stop at the haunting ruins of Monasterboice. See an amazing 10th century stone round tower in pristine condition and learn how our ancestors sought refuge there from vicious Viking raids in the area. Touch the most beautiful hand carved stone Celtic crosses in Ireland, standing tall over the Irish countryside for over 1,000 years.
Titanic ExperienceTitanic Belfast extends over nine interactive galleries, with multiple dimensions to the exhibition, drawing together special effects, dark rides, full-scale reconstructions and innovative interactive features. Explore the shipyard, travel to the depths of the ocean and uncover the true legend of Titanic, in the city and dockside where it all began.Enjoy approximately 120 minutes to explore the exhibition at leisure, your entrance fee (GBP 19.00) will be included in the cost of your tour.
Consider an optional Black Taxi tour of the Falls and Shankill Roads along with the infamous political murals and the "Peace Lines" (walls) separating Irish Nationalist and British Loyalist neighbourhoods. Highly recommended by Lonely Planet and all the leading guidebooks. The Black Taxi fare is GBP 12.50 per person (approx. EUR 15.00).ORTake the free time for lunch and shopping time in Belfast bustling downtown shopping area. Use your free time to explore this magical city. Visit the Crown Liquor Saloon for a glass of Bushmills Whiskey or check out Belfast's own leaning tower, the “Albert Clock”.
We'll regroup around 16:00 and head back towards Dublin (maybe with a few bags of souvenirs from the Game of Thrones store!). After crossing the border we'll return through the rolling countryside of County Louth. We'll make a comfort stop en-route if required and drop you off in Dublin at approximately 18:30.

Wonderful experience throughout the tour. Very well organised. Great facilities for refreshments and great souvenir shop.

  • 12-Aug-2023

The driver was punctual and the tour guide - Jacky - had a wealth of knowledge and information about Irish history and Belfast, as well as a great sense of humour. We did a tour of Catholic and Protestant areas, the Peace Wall and then the Titanic Museum. We rounded it off with lunch and shopping in St. George's Market. Fabulous day!

Had a good time out with the Paddy- Wagon. Tour guide was very funny and had lots of knowledge. Ran on time and easy to use. Would use again and select another option to see more of Ireland.

This was a fascinating day trip to Belfast that included the Titanic Museum which was wonderful. Would recommend the Black Cab tour in Belfast - truly a highlight to see and hear about Belfast during 'the troubles'. Our driver, Jimmy, was fantastic - a true Irishman with the gift of gab :-) and loads of information. A great day well worth the price.

The museum experience was fabulous and the Black cab trip was memorable. Along route, we were told what to expect, and enjoyed Paul’s storytelling.

What a wonderful experience made especially good was our driver Brian who gave a running commentary about the history of Ireland. We also did the black cab tour very informative. The visit to the Titanic museum was really good to.

La visite du Musée du Titanic est formidable, on y apprend beaucoup et de façon intéractive. Une expérience à vivre.

Titanic was great as was tour through Belfast. Enjoyed the history with black cab ride. The mall with the vista of city was beautiful.

It was a great experience. We enjoyed going to Belfast The stop at Monasterbice and the optional Black Taxi ride were great. The highlight was the Titanic Museum, which was outstanding. I wish there had been more time allowed at the Titanic Museum. While the time we had was ample, I felt a bit rushed at the end. It was also helpful that the van stopped at a rest area on the drive to Belfast and back to Dublin.
