Great trip! I highly recommend it. Our driver Connor was super knowledgeable and super funny. Love the taxi tour of Belfast as well. A must do!
Derek was our guide. He was fantastic, very personable, knowledgeable and lots of fun ... made the day day extremely enjoyable
We really were looking forward to this tour because we always wanted to see the Titanic exhibit in Belfas and it was included. Our tour guide was phenomenal, his name was Jack and he was knowledgeable, funny and kept us entertained with his deep Irish accent the whole time. The titanic experience itself was not as interesting as we thought as the most interesting parts we found were seeing the actual model layouts of the rooms and the ride that you go on to see a brief history. The day however did not disappoint as we got to see and explore the history of Belfast afterwards. We even got to walk in town I didn’t know how “troubled” the troubles were until we got a hands on experience seeing the history ourselves while Jack narrated through everything for us. This tour is definitely worth taking, not necessarily because of the titanic exhibit but exploring the history of Belfast afterwards.
A nice and informative trip. A very good guide Noel took us thrue the history. Thank you. We will be back
Titanic trip was great. Republican museum was interesting and informative. Only drawback was the black taxi tour. We sat for 25 minutes as the driver explained the conflict, drove 100m and got another explanation before seeing a wall of murals then drove through the peace wall and saw the peace wall on the shankill road.
I was hoping to see murals from both sides and the famous ones of Bobby sands and king Billy, that was the reason for going on the tour
This was an awesome tour! Loved the Titanic Museum! It was interactive and had these cool holograms, and a ride! The Black Taxi tour was our highlight! We learned a lot about the conflict! Very informative! Our guide was great and our Black Taxi tour guide was awesome too! We also visited the Belfast City Hall which a museum in itself! Wonderful day and well worth it!
Our driver, Deck was very professional, accommodating, and helpful. He was also great with time, so this is good.
Would have wanted a guided tour in Belfast, which I think could have been accommodated as there was plenty of time to do so, after the Titanic Experience as well as the Black Taxi Tour. Also, we could have been given the chance to visit the ship as an extra post the Titanic Experience.
Our bus driver Liam was just outstanding
His commentary was so informative and interesting
The trip is just the right length with very worthwhile visit to the Titanic museum as well as the political taxi tour.
I would highly recommend this day tour to Belfast. It provides a great overview of the city and the political atmosphere
My wife and I took this day trip to Belfast. Noel, our driver was a former history teacher who was a wealth of information. He also sang a couple of Irish ballads on the way back to Dublin.
In Belfast we spent about 2 hours at the Titanic museum. The museum is very well done.
We then took a taxi tour of Northern Belfast concerning the Troubles. It was eye opening.
We then had 21/2 hours in downtown Belfast. We split it between The Crown and the Victorian era City Hall building. Great trip!
I strongly recommend using Irish Day Tours in Dublin to tour Belfast. We traveled on a small bus of about 12 passengers. Our driver was Ronan and he did a fantastic job. He was an excellent driver and very knowledgeable of Irish history. Once in Belfast, the day started with a 90 minute self-guided tour of the Titanic Experience located in the Harland and Wolff shipyard in the Titanic Quarter. Then we were divided into small groups and took a "Political Taxi Tour" where we visited the Peace Wall and the Belfast fence that still separates the two sections of Belfast. The taxi driver, John Johnson, did a fantastic job of providing the history and background of Northern Ireland. I found that portion of the tour very moving and sad.
