Itinerary

Stop At: Alfama, Lisbon Portugal
Our first stop is at the Lisbons Cathedral, a construction of the mid-12th century and one of the most important religious buildings in Portugal. You can also contemplate the ruins of the Roman Theater, an important archeological site in Lisbon.
Alfama is one of the most typical neighborhoods of Lisbon. The peculiar colored buildings with flowery vases and laundry out to dry on their balconies, makes it one of the most picturesque places in the city. If you want to have a genuine experience in Lisbon you have to walk through the narrow and disorderly streets of this popular and emblematic neighborhood.
Lisbon is known for the "city of seven hills", from its viewpoints you can enjoy stunning views of the Tagus River.
This neighborhood houses the Fado Museum, where you can learn about the history of this musical genre that only exists in Portugal.
Near the museum we find the Casa dos Bicos, a peculiar building with a faade covered with small stone pyramids, which now hosts the collection of the Portuguese writer Jos Saramago awarded in 1998 with the Nobel Prize in Literature.
