Know More about this tour

On this tour you will walk through the villages of the Cinque Terre in one day, admiring and exploring these picturesque small towns.
The Cinque Terre is a beautiful stretch of rugged coast and the only unspoilt part left of the lovely Italian Riviera. It takes its name from the five picturesque fishing villages of Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso.

Cinque Terre have been inaccessible from the land for centuries, isolated by steep mountains and valleys on one side and by the sea itself on the other. Thanks to its isolation, the unspoilt charm of the Cinque Terre is a protected World Heritage Site and a National Park. Led by our knowledgeable guide, you will discover the spectacular coastline.

We first visit the Cinque Terre village of Manarolaand continue with a lovely boat journey (weather permitting) to Monterosso, which is renowned for its beautiful beach and small craftsmens shops. We reach then, with a short train ride, Vernazzaone of the prettiest of all, where we will have free time to sit in one of the cheerful bars and cafs.
By train we arrive to Riomaggiorewhere you will have some free time for a refreshing swim in the Mediterranean or shopping into some of the picturesque shops. Here a delicious local lunch is served in a typical restaurant with a perfect view of the sea and the hills declining down to the rocky coves. From Riomaggiore a train ride takes us back to La Spezia concluding our Cinque Terre visit, before returning to Florence by coach.

Please note that the order of the visits may change.

  • The tour was good. We were taken to each city and then left on our own to explore. Why I gave it a four star was because we took the lunch option. The food was not good. I would never combine a tour with food again. Just take the tour!

  • Enjoyed the whole trip, especially the boat trip when we were able to get the best view of the five villages. Well-organized, good lunch and friendly guide.

  • 5 villages along the coast truly enjoyed Monterroso and Riomaggiore. The tour group is extremely big suggest earphones to hear the guide better. Skip lunch there's plenty of restaurants around the area the food served was just OK.

  • This tour was amazing!

  • beautiful though extreamely Overcrowded location, would better go on your own

  • Great trip! Weather was good enough to ride train, bus and boat---stayed in restaurant during short downpour. Food was really tasty! wine was good! Wish we'd been able to stop at old town, but restaurant was in new area. Got great photos, but have not yet organized them as we are back only 2 days.

  • The ocean was too rough the day we went but the train ride fun. Each village was different from the others. Interesting history on how they came to be. Great photo ops.

  • While I enjoyed Cinque Terre, I really did not like our tour guide. I felt like I was back in grade school, being told to stand in single file, taking attendance at every stop, etc. It also was pouring rain, so it was difficult to enjoy the tour. I felt like the stops were way too short and we wasted an awful amount of time taking attendance and doing administrative things. I would recommend going to Cinque Terre on your own as opposed to doing a tour.

  • The tour guides were really griendly and spoke all the languages fluently. The villages were amazing. An absolute hidden gem. I highly tecommend this trip. I went on my own and i got to meet lots of people.
