Set off from Piazza di spagna, and then proceed to the Spanish steps, with their lively atmosphere and stunning views down into the winding alleys of the heart of the historic center. Next you will encounter one of Rome's most dramatic monuments, the beautiful Trevi fountain.
Your stroll through Rome continues with a stop at Piazza Colonna, which contains the column erected by Marcus Aurelius and is considered by Romans to be the very center of the city. Stop at the Pantheon, with its impressive concrete dome and open oculus, which never fails to impress. Nearby you will explore Piazza navona, with Bernini's famous "Fountain of the Four Rivers" triumphantly marking its center.

Tour was ok, not very interesting. Loved seeing the pantheon and trevvi fountain, but would recommend doing on your own. Not worth the 2.5 hours
-
Rome is indeed crowded - and we would have definitely skipped these sights upon seeing the crowds, but having a great tour guide with truly interesting information kept us captive. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
-
This was a great tour - very informational and a good way to get a view of the city and some of the primary monuments while walking through the city in an afternoon. (We then spent another day at the Colosseum and one day at the Vatican).
-
The tour guide was extremely knowledgable about all the sites. It's a great way to take in a multitude of sites in a short time.
-
Jabir I think was his name. He knew all the shortcuts and he was so sweet it offering more information than needed. It was lovely to have him. Thank you so much for everything.
-
Tour was great. Provided great insight into the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and the Plaza. Our guide Mikela (sorry if I spelled wrong) was excellent. She did a wonderful job of keeping our children involved.
-
our guides although completely different were both knowledgeable and thorough , i enjoyed the Ancient Rome walk better and my wife enjoyed the Best of Rome better, maybe not doing both in one day would be better, but our time in Rome was limited
-
This was our first tour in Rome and we loved our guide Ilaria. She was really knowledgeable and fun! I would recommend her and this tour! Lots of walking
-
Irene was our tour guide for this long informative walk through the historic center of Rome! From the Spanish Steps to Trevi Fountain. She was a font of knowledge and energy and kept us all entertained with her knowledge of history. Irene gave us plenty of time to explore the interior spaces of the Pantheon and take in the extraordinary architecture of the Pagan Temple cum Christian Church! The Oculus at the center of the dome is remarkable and other worldly. We were happy with the value we received on this tour and enjoyed the gelato break we had in the middle! Irene did great and deserves much praise! Grazie!

Alessandro was our guide, and he was very good and enthusiastic! This tour is very enjoyable. The Pantheon is in great condition with the huge beautiful entry doors. Don’t miss the Trevi Fountain and be sure to throw a coin in! On the Piazza Navona they used to have chariot races there. The fountain is reason enough to visit this Piazza. Enjoy!
