Know More about this tour
Head to Marigot, capital of the French Saint-Martin, where cafs line the Marina Royale. Then, pass to the opposite side to see private sailing boats moored in the bay, and view the historic Ft Louis and French flag overlooking the town. Its a short cruise to Friars Bay, known for its full moon parties, and the more secluded Happy Bay. Your captain will make a quick stop at the unbelievably white beach of Tintamarre Island for some unforgettable swimming with sea turtles in the calm waters of the marine reserve.
Re-board your boat for Pinel Island, where you can sit in the shallow water with a refreshing beverage. Enjoy a hot lunch served at a restaurant on the sun-drenched Yellow Beach. If youd like, hike around the tiny island to explore sandy shores and isolated rock pools, whose crystal-clear waters are protected from pounding surf.
After approximately one hour at Pinel Island, ride to Creole Rock, located in the middle of the Bay of Grand Case. This marine reserve is the islands best-kept secret, where sea life abounds in the shallow water. After a snorkel stop for an undersea adventure, cruise around the island, passing the red rock cliffs of Bay Rouge and the mansions of Terre Basse. Youll have the opportunity to feed the fish in the turquoise waters of Long Bay while keeping an eye out for any celebrities on the golden sands of the exclusive La Samanna Resort.
Next, be sure to have your camera ready to photograph planes directly overhead as aircraft come in for a landing at nearby Princess Juliana Airport. Its just a short cruise back around Simpson Bay to admire 150-foot (45-meter) mega yachts before arriving back at Dock Maarten Chesterfields Wharf.

I took this tour back in 2017 with a captain by the name of Mike from France turns out to be he was the owner of the company. This year I booked a trip for 12 of us on their boat and once again, what a great experience we had a different captain this time his name was Nicolas and they Co- Captain Frankie both of these gentlemen were very attentive to my family and others that were on the boat with us. They took us to great locations that were not crowded. Swam with the turtles, and had an amazing lunch on the beach. I Definitely I know Mike probably has something to do with the hiring of people and he did a great job with Frankie in Nicolaus once again thank you guys for such a great time and I will definitely keep referring you friends & Family!
Have done the speed boat tours around St Maarten 4 times now over the past 6 years. 1st and 2nd time were with a competitor company. 3rd time I tried to use them for a group of 29 but they would not accommodate. Found Robinson instead and had amazing experience. Apparently ownership has changed since (or they go by myriad names: Seven Marine, Robinson Speed Boat Tours, etc.) Booked this trip through Tripadvisor under Robinson; receipt says Captain Flint; greeters on dock and Captain Nico had Billy Bones shirts on. All previous tours left from Dock Maarten so went there first. After about 10 minutes I began to realize I was probably at wrong dock so asked around. Everyone directed me to the son of the owner of the aforementioned competitor company. Asked him if he happened to know which dock Robinson was leaving from these days. He acted like he never heard of them. Someone overheard this, got on their phone, and had us on our way to Bobby's Marina. Boats for tours seem to have changed from center console speed boats to dedicated tour boats. Still fast and enjoyable; like the center console type better, though. Nico and Frankie were our captains. Very nice! Also experienced 2 firsts: 1) this was the first time we have been able to completely circle the island! 2) This was the first time actually seeing turtles at Tintamarre! Not only saw them there, but also right off beach where we ate lunch at Scooby's! Day was beautiful and bright. Great snorkeling at Creole Rock! Got big jet landing overhead at Maho! And great speed ride back to ship. Love this tour!
Captains Niko and Frankie were excellent tour guides on our 360 degree tour of the island. We snorkeled and saw sea turtles, tropical fish, and coral; had a tasty lunch at Scooby’s; saw planes landing and taking off at the beach; and had rum punch and Caribs all day!!
This excursion was definitely the highlight of our trip. Miguel was incredible - he took us to extra locations (we arrived early) and was a great host!!! The only bummer part was that we didn’t see any sea turtles
Both our captain and tour guide were perfect. They told us history of island, shared geographic landmark information and took us to the best beaches, swimming places and snorkeling spots. Smaller tour group so the boat never felt crowded.
The excursion it self was amazing. But I want to take a second to rave about captain Sammy and his mate Sammy, just wow! They made our trip so memorable and so exciting! Truly the best excursion on the island hands down.
The speed boat trip was amazing! What made the whole trip was Captain Miguel- he was the best!! He made our whole day such a great experience!
We had a fantastic time with Sammie and Frankie; drinks were plentiful and they were excellent guides. Very nice boat too! Snorkeling just ok but had a-lot of stops to swim and relax with a drink. Would do this excursion again; thank you Sammie and Frankie!
This was a great day for all ages. We walked from our cruise ship to the port to pick up the speedboat. In our group was ages 7 to 70. In total there were 10 people. The food was amazing. Our captain Miguel was very capable. We visited two different islands and made five swim/snorkeling stops. It was a fantastic day and the water was magnificent . We returned in time for our all aboard on our cruise ship. If you like adventure this is the trip for you. Go for it! If you have back issues this probably is not your best choice as the boat does go very fast over many bumps.
Super journée. Nage avec les tortues, sensations fortes en hors bord, petit tour sur Pinel. Un capitaine - Nico - au top. Je recommande vivement.
