On July 26, 1967, Pope Paul VI visited The House of Virgin Mary and declared one of the pilgrimage center.

    The ruins of Ephesus were quite impressive, as well as the Virgin Mary’s house… the guy was very knowledgeable about Ephesus and the surrounding areas in turkey

    We went on this trip a few years ago, it would not have changed, only more interesting g as they dig up more artefacts. Was very special walking and seeing all the places where St Paul preached. So many interesting places to look at and find out how they lived in that period of time.
