  We had a really good experience with the Big Bus tour. We spent some time on the Walk of Fame and then started the tour, doing only the Hollywood loop which took around 2 hours. We also downloaded the app which was useful to find stops and online arrival times. The guided tour was actually really fun and informative (to my surprise) and in synch with the location. We did not hop off due to time constraints and stayed on the bus for most of the tour which worked out really well for us. The bus has a shaded area up top (recommended!) and the driving was comfortable. We got to see all the sites we were looking for.

  Hoping off and hoping on with no time limit.. great views from the top deck. Staffs were very friendly and knowledgeable.

  Awful experience - late infrequent buses We were told to get the 3.30 bus at 1 to catch the beach shuttle at 4.15 and if there was a delay the bus would wait The bus was approx 30 Mins late at the Hollywood stop - on arriving at transfer in Beverly Hills - the bus to the beach pulled out just before we arrived and left 4 of us stranded - we were told to get the city bus or Uber - no communication between drivers customer service terrible -

  Bus was comfortable and drivers were competent. The pre recorded info heard by ear phones needs updated. Passed The Viper club n it was never mentioned. The information didn't say if a particular building was on the left or right so you missed it altogether. The recording didn't always keep up with the driver so again we had no idea what we were supposed to looking at. The music and information was repetitive. We only had one full day in LA so I would do more research before picking this particular tous

  The tour was nice but I also ordered and paid for a walking tour in the Chinese theater. At the venue I was told all walking tours were cancelled but Viator / Big Bus is not willing to make any refund!!! Awful!!!

  The recording did not line up with what we were seeing and would have been better to say left right or in front. Warning for limbs would have been helpful. Something positive comfortable, and saw a lot.

  We had 1 day in LA and we chose the Big Bus Tour! Love it! Driver was courteous and helpful. The narrated audio tour was not too long not too short, just right. We took the route to Beverly Hills and Old Holywood. Glad we did, you see the city with landmarks in 1 day, many opportunities to take pics from above like you could not ny walking. Loved all! Very Happy with the tour!

  Appalling driver one of us felt sick with the constant hard braking, listening through the head phones I only managed to see a few things before we had passed them. Not impressed with the tour or the "interesting facts" about celebs who might have been somewhere. The Big Bus in San Francisco is so much better than this expensive waste of a couple of hours.

  We enjoyed our basic day ticket for hop on/hop off privileges while visiting LA. I recommend researching the routes before you arrive because even with planning ahead, we were often confused with what stop we were at until the bus had stopped. The app was kind of helpful, but I wish it contained more details descriptions of each stop and talked about those before the bus would slow to the bus stop. We loved the audio tour but wish there was more information on the red Hollywood route. We started early so we could do the blue route at stop 6 as well as the rest of the Hollywood route, and there were many more interesting facts on the blue beach route. I definitely recommend doing both, but watch when the last bus of the day is so you don’t get stranded. **Search for promo codes or coupons before purchasing direct.
