  • This trip was fabulous. It is such nice way to see the beautiful city. The guides were very knowledgeable and humorous all through the way. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Washington DC.

  • This tour was amazing!

  • Truly amazing way to get around Washington. Had an amazing time.

  • The best way to see Washingtons famous monuments and buildings ,No crowds, beautiful views with a very different perspective .We were fortunate in having a great guide.Communicative ,interesting helpful.

  • Very good. Guide very knowledgeable.

  • For DC tour readers:

First of all, don't even try to call because the wait time to get assistance will take 20 minutes on average. Agent with Viator was pleasant enough, but couldn't provide details I was seeking and the website is not much better as it doesn't provide a purchaser with a very critical piece of information - i.e.: you are not instructed to go to the Big Bus main office to have your receipts printed as the email receipt is not accepted to get you on-off the tour bus we witnessed serval different couples and single riders not allowed to get on the bus because of not having the printed receipts and in our case, into Madame Tussads Wax Museum as one might expect because at purchase it does say you must have a printed receipt, only show one. Fortunately, the office on the day we decided to go to the museum was right next door and the process was quick - show your email receipt smart phone, etc. and they print you paper receipts that can be used for the night tour required for example.

    Night tour of DC:

Highly recommend as our bus driver and guide were very pleasant, and guide was knowledgeable of DC history! Caution, tour in Fall from top of open bus fro best views is very chilly - LOL! Note, you are also expected to listen thru head sets where the bus driver will only announce the stops and sights. My complaint is I specifically caught the 5:15 bus at main office agent there was very helpful to transfer to the first pick-up at 6:00 Willard Hotel, bus driver stopped there 6:00 pick-up and didn't even let me know as she was stepping off to check for hotel passengers and is where I needed to get off - after I asked her when boarding I wanted to catch this bus at this stopped close to our hotel and I could walk there at end of the tour and there was only one other couple on board. We had to go all the way to the Union Station stop, which was way too far for from our hotel for my 8 y/o daughter and I to walk to at the end of the night tour, so would have had to catch a taxi if not for the bus driver dropping us closer to our hotel.

    Around town tour:

Bus driver was OK, not very enthusiastic, but if you want to hear about the city, the drive is pleasant enough, especially if you have no knowledge of DC and don't enjoy walking, which is what I recommend - stay in a downtown hotel and you can walk everywhere and just purchase a night tour as the city is gorgeous at night!

  • I absolutely loved this bus trip .To begin the bus drivers are so pleasant and extremely friendly. My wife and I loved the amity hop on and hop of all day.The price of the tickets is more than worth it. I highly recommend Big Bus for the best way to see our beautiful capital.

  • As this tour has been in every other city that does this. Its a great experience and economical way to get to the tourist spots in most cities around the world. .. We usual buy at least 1 day pass and spend one day hopping off and on and if we are going to be there for longer then we go back to places that peaked our interest.

  • Had a great time, and the Big Bus helped a lot!

  • loved it, I would recommend the night tour, bus 144 . the tour guide was engaging and funny
