This was spectacular! Local guides tell stories of the beauty of this Island and about their ancestors. The scenery is breath taking!!

My husband and I did this tour last week My first time on an ATV and it was a blast. We both had an awesome time riding them and going through massive rain puddles. Yes, it was raining that day and it was muddy. But still a ton of fun. The staff was awesome and made sure we did things correctly, so we would be safe. Something to keep in mind, is definitely bring an extra set of clothes and SHOES to change into, after the riding. You will be very dirty...especially if it's been raining. Highly recommend and would do it again!!!!

Great adventure! It was more of a rugged trail than I was anticipating, however, it was so much fun and the views were amazing! Our guides were wonderful and shared with us the history and passion of the island. It's not just Hawaii, it's Hah-Vie-E. It means something that you will find out on tour.

Great fun, beautiful valley below, and fascinating history

Great tour with super nice and friendly guides. After one of us had issues with the default ATV's, they placed us in a multi-person buggy similar to a SUV golf cart, which was great to ride and did not take away from the mud or the fun : The paths travelled were nice and offered a variety of driving conditions and the let us from one great viewpoint of the valley to the next offering impressive views!

Great day in Hawaii and what a fun way to see it! Our guides took us to waterfalls, beautiful overlooks to the valley and even taught us a thing or two about Hawaiian history. I definitely recommend this excursion.

Been going to the Big Island every year for about 8 years now and finally tried this. What a blast! The ride up the hill and through the potholes and mud is not for the faint of heart - but it's also not difficult at all for a beginner to do. My daughter never rode any kind of motorcycle or ATV before and did just fine. The scenery is beautiful and the guides are friendly, funny, and teach some history and culture on the side to make it interesting. They teach you everything you need to know to operate the ATV and run a VERY safe ride. This also means if you're looking to hot dog it on an ATV trip, this is not the one for you. We stayed relatively clean because it hadn't rained in a while. I'd actually like to go back again sometime when it's more rainy and muddy. We definitely recommend this tour to everyone except the most delicate and sensitive of snowflakes.

Overall good. Drivers were ok. We did not drive our own atv but rode in a buggy. Swimming was in cold water but bring water shoes as rocks were slippery and sharp. The views were great.

Absolutely amazing ATV tour! Incredible mountain terrain and delightful folklore of native Hawai'ians and the Waipio Valley...
