The tour was an excellent way to see 5 key attractions on Big Island in a short amount of time. We probably would not have made it out to half the sites without the tour. Brent, our tour guide, did a great job explaining the history of the Island and entertaining us with local stories along the way. He also took a lot of care to keep us comfortable and moving along on time which was hugely appreciated . We had a ten year old and 18 year old in tow and it was a memorable experience for all

Highly recommend doing this tour first thing ASAP. This will allow you to know the island and its history giving you a chance to plan and refine your itinerary going forward. Me and my wife might have met the most energetic and enthusiastic tour guide on the island. Jacklyn, our tour guide from the very start of pick up was a joy to meet, warm, and welcoming. It felt like family off the back or as Jacklyn put it in island lingo “Ohana” and this is what the tour was like the entire time with a cast of characters laughing and enjoying the island experience. Coffee in Kona, Black Sand Beaches, Volcanoes’, Water-Falls, Breath-Taking Look Outs, passed through a lot of towns, various climates, and got some great history through it all. Learned about the five volcanoes, how to get around, where to go, hidden sites, best local eats, best places to see this and that, dos and don’ts, etc. Jacklyn even gave us lessons on the local language and brought us into the culture of the island. She answered all our questions with expertise and ease, and we were well prepared to explore the island on our own with full confidence. If you’re looking for the best experience, this tour will leave a great impression, a great start to a long vacation for us…Your Awesome Jacklyn…Mahalo Nui Loa…Ron & Tina.

Chris was great!! Extremely knowledgable, and did a great job with pacing in regard to the overall experience. He gave you interesting tidbits, about the island, to an in depth story about some of the atrocities that happened in the past, along with background and storyline. There is a lot to see on this tour, so make sure you're full of stamina. Bring a snack (nuts or some dried fruit), and get ready for a full experience. Each place we stopped had it's own little unique history. It is an important thing to convey a "history", and Chris does a very good job with that. Kudos again!

We did the Big Island tour early in our stay and it was so worth it. Our driver/guide Chris knew so much about the history and the culture of. Hawaii and kept the drive between stops seem to fly by. Plus, so many great stops as we toured the perimeter of the island gave us a great list of things to go see while we are here. From a coffee farm to a Hawaiian bakery to a black sand beach, to a volcano to waterfalls, and all the breathtaking views, we could not be more happy with our choice to take this tour. Bravo!

The black sand beach with the sea turtles . The kina cofee part was fabolous and the tour part of the waterfall was beautiful and relaxing.

Chris is a plethora of knowledge! He adapted our tour according to the weather so we would be more comfortable eating our lunch. Chris is easy to ride with and made the journey even more enjoyable. I have a whole new appreciation for the Big Island having experienced this trip. (Can you see the chameleon in my picture?) Thank you for everything, Chris!!!

We had a wonderful time! Our guide, Henry, was so knowledgeable about the island and its history. I have so much respect for the culture and love for Hawaii. True natural beauty!!!

  • 21-Aug-2023

Henry was the perfect tour guide; personable, knowledgeable, and helpful. We could not have asked for better excursion. Yes, the price makes one have second thoughts but I would highly recommend this booking. Got to do all in one day that would have taken us much longer on our own plus we won't have had all the insights and stories from Henry. It was well worth it.

The free sampling of the coffee, the lava tube and the water falls. Jaclyn was an amazing tour guide, she was so pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful, she is awesome.
