In the month of May 2023, we held an interesting team building for 8 employees in tourism and we chose a slightly different food tour - with bikes. Our guide was Klemenc, who perfectly introduced us to the lesser-known attractions of Vienna and took us to some interesting points where we tasted food. Klemenc is very skilled on the bike and was very patient with us, who were more clumsy. He is also an interesting speaker, full of stories and jokes. The food was also excellent. The bike tour was a great decision! The team of the Travel agency Sonček – TUI Reisecenter from Slovenia

My friends and me had the best time at the bike & bite tour! Tobi showed us the best spots for having food in town :) and riding around by bike was the best way to Discover town .

Little surprised about the kick bikes but they turned out to be fun and easy to maneuver. Tour was fun, saw sights and tasted bites that wouldn't have otherwise experienced.

Great tour, but definitely not a food tour. Overall it was a positive experience for me but didn't quite match the description at the time I did it. First the positives. Our guide Dimas was very friendly, enthusiastic, and a knowledgeable local. He catered the tour to our interests so we saw and learned about things we cared about. I came away feeling like I understand Viennese people and the feel of the city in general. There was also some history to explain how the people are today. The kick bikes were fun! They're kind of like larger scooters and are not electric, so you get a very small work out in and it helps to get around places faster than by foot. The food we did have was very good and we got some of it again after the tour (looking at you kasekrainer). Now the negatives. This was not a food tour and it look 3.5 hours instead of the 2 it states. I'm all for getting more for my money, but I had a schedule because I only had a few days in Vienna (like many people); this extra length was not communicated at the beginning either. As for food, we had a small snack at the beginning (which was delicious) and then ate at one place after that where we were each given a beer (food was great here as well). After the 3 hour mark, we were offered to eat at one more interesting place but did not have the time to, so we declined. We talked a bit about Viennese cuisine, but not that much. So I don't think it lived up to the description that we would "discover the Viennese local cuisine and street food". We scratched the surface. I was hoping to stuff my face but that did not happen. Overall I think it was a good tour, but be sure to know what you're getting into. Maybe message the host to check how the tour is supposed to go because maybe ours was not according to plan. I would still give this tour a chance.

Booked this tour through Viator. More on them later Prime tours had our booking and payment confirmed for a sunday bike and bite tour. We showed at the address and they never did. Sent an email, never responded. Called the number and only a voicemail with no return call So called Viator, as they are the customer support. On hold for > 24 minutes when they said they could not reach the company either. We requested a refund, they declined. They stated that they need contact from the company to do this. I pointed out that they received a booking fee for setting this up and they did not feel this obligated them to refund the fees Bottom line: i think Prime Tours Vienna is out of business. If not, why would ANYONE EVER want to do business with a tour company that doesnt show or respond to attempts to get in touch
