Overview

Great day trip from Hvar town to Blue and Green Cave. Spend your day on the speedboat visiting beautiful bays and coves, swimming and diving in the crystal clear sea and exploring beauty of nature.

Know More about this tour

Most visitors to Hvar Town visit the crystal-clear waters, hidden beaches and deserted lagoons of the Pakleni Islands (Pakleni otoci), a gorgeous chain of wooded isles that stretches out immediately in front of the town.
The Blue Cave or Blue Grotto or Modra špilja is a splendorous and unique geomorphological natural wonder on the Croatian Adriatic located in a bay of Balun on the island of Biševo.A hypnotizing silver-blue light illuminates the space inside the cave when the sunlight hits the surface of the ocean through a crack or vault (natural opening) on its arched roof and reflects off the seabed.
Stiniva Beach (also referred to as Stiniva Bay or Stiniva Cove) on Vis island is one of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia and not to be missed during your visit!A secluded turquoise cove with pebbly shores and surrounding verdant cliffs are just some of the reasons why Stiniva Beach was rated Europe’s Best Beach in 2019.
The cave on the island of Ravnik is well known as a Green Cave.It is a cave formed by means of abrasion with two entrances and an aperture on the top through which light enters reflecting colors from the sea bottom painting its walls green. In the period of the Second World Ware, smaller warships also found shelter here.
Even though we like to call them “blue lagoons”, the color of the sea inside the Budikovac lagoon is closer to beautiful turquoise, constantly changing shades as the sun moves on the horizon above.Budikovac island is situated on the SE side of the island Vis and its lagoon is formed by Budikovac island and two little islands called “small Budikovac” and “Sanak” located just outside the main beach of island Budikovac. Its crystal clear sea is the perfect stage for some underwater photography and selfies to share with your friends.
Palmizana is a local name for island St. Clement which is a part of Pakleni islands archipelago stretching all the way to Hvar town on the island of Hvar. Its many bays and hidden beaches has been a magnet for many travelers visiting Croatia and its hidden pearls located on the Adriatic sea.On the south side of the island, inside the Vinogradišće bay, you will find a popular Palmizana resort, dominated by the immense beauty of numerous trees and plants, restaurants, bungalows, crystal clear sea and sandy sea bottom

The two main targets were not reached. Closing of blue cave was told at the start, the green bay when in the boat. Overall, it would be fair to inform on the cancellations beforehand, as it appeared that there was information on the long queeing times available online. The staff tried their best, but a lot can be improved, starting from the safety procedures.

A beautiful experience to swim in the Green Cave, it's not necessarily unique but the Blue Cave was amazing! The trip is a bit too long without many options to relax, have food, and use the toilets. It seemed a bit too hurried but definitely recommended nonetheless. One has to pay separately "in cash" to go into the Green Cave, it felt like a scam run by the local guys who take tourists there. One needs to pay to enter the Blue Cave as well but at least it did not feel like a scam and was somewhat organised. Not sure who is charging and who is getting paid and what is being done with the money collected. I guess people who take tourists to the Blue Cave are probably getting paid by the collection from the ticket sold.

This was an excellent adventure. The Blue cave was INCREDIBLE! The Green cave was cool (and we could swim at that one), as was the pebble private beach we swam to (and the one we started out at). Our boat drive was fun and safe. Lots of great beach time in addition to the caves. I took this as an independent excursion on a cruise ship. We were able to communicate upfront our times in port and they assured us we would make our tender times. They were true to their word. I was nervous about when I would get back and they switched me boats at one of the beaches so I could be in the “cruise group” that needed back early. Even dropped us off right next to tender to save 10 minutes of walking. Highly recommend.

A truly excellent all-day adventure with great skippers. The Blue Cave was definitely blue, though the Green Cave was not really verdant. The lunch spot was excellent, and the pebbled beach that you swim to, with its little bar, was super cool (and perhaps even cooler than the final stop).

Our trip got cancelled due to bad weather but it was then rearranged for the next day. I did have the get in contact with them to check as I hadn’t heard anything - but they were very fast at answering and then kept us informed there after. Unfortunately the next day the blue and green caves were both shut - we were informed this before we left & advised that the skippers would keep checking but this didn’t change. We still wanted to go on the trip regardless and we are very glad we did. We had a wonderful day with 2 other couples. Our skippers (Huiga and Anta?) we’re lovely! Giving us lots of little information throughout the trip. We stopped off at a few places & because we didn’t get to go in the caves they took us to this wonderful fishing/Croatian Village Komiza for some lunch and a sunbath - it would beautiful. We then stopped off at Palmižana Beach for the final part of our tour. On the way back they let us take over the music on the boat and it was just such a relaxing day! We throughly enjoyed ourselves!

Had a surreal experience taking the Blue Cave tours with them. Right from Information at their booth to the Captain being highly informative, kind and patient all throughout the day - They made our day one to never forget... Highly recommendable

Great tour of the surrounding beaches and caves! The green caves were amazing, we jumped off the top of the boat and had best view from the water. The military submarine dock was also a highlight of the tour. There is also a cooler on the boat so you can take your own drinks which is a nice way to end the tour. Clau and Ante were great - very knowledgeable and highly skilled! Highly recommend this tour.

An amazing trip was start to finish! The caves were beautiful especially the green cave and as you have the chance to swim through definitely do so as there is even more to see underwater than above. Great swimming opportunities along the way, the skippers were both informative about the sites we stopped at and professional in the handling of the boat. I would recommend this tour again and again it was the highlight of out trip :)
