  • Very nicely planned and well organised. However we could not see the Blue Grotto due to its natural conditions

  • Tour guides were great. The tour itself is a little unorganized but because of the unpredictability of the Grotto not sure if there is much that can be done about that. Not much time to see the island of Capri.

  • Sasha and Simona were awesome tour guides!! It was an amazing experience!! Very highly recommended.

  • Simone was so good!

  • We were lucky enough to get to the blue Grotto and enjoy Capri, which was amazing . We probably would have preferred a small group tour for the Grotto and Capri. We were surprised to find ourselves on a huge ferry with lots of others. Which at times we were worried about getting lost or finding the meeting points on time.

  • Great tour. The guide was very knowledgeable. The restaurant for lunch was very good. Had a fun day exploring Capri and seeing the Blue Grotto

  • Very friendly and informative tour guide Sasha... must visit place on south Italy

  • Amazing tour, everething was arranged very professionally. Simona was a great guide.

  • At the end of the day, the only thing that was helpful on this tour was the fact that someone told you where to stand and someone ie. the tour guide had already purchased the tickets on your behalf so you didn't have to stand in line. Other than that, the price paid was NOT worth the tour. You board the ferry in Sorrento - depending on how many other people are in your group, you could be waiting there for 45 minutes before you actually leave on the ferry. Ie. we were told to be ready at 9:45am, we didn't depart on the ferry until at least 10:30. This was NO SMALL group - there were about 35-40 people in our group- half Spanish speaking, the other half English speaking. Do not expect any narration or guided history-like tour. Once you arrive in Capri, and you know that you will in fact be able to head over to the Blue Grotto, the chaos mounts as well as the frustration. While the Grotto is obviously the draw of the tour, you arent told that you might sit in a small boat, rocking back and forth for upwards of an hour or more, in the blazing sun, without water, before you are able to board a small row boat now your third boat of the day for your chance to enter the Grotto. Given the fact that our tour guides were split between 3 boats while waiting outside the Grotto, we had no idea what was going on while, and no communication while we sat tipping back and forth. All you could see were fancy high-end boats rolling up and their patrons quickly hoping onto the row boats and into the Grotto while we sat clueless as to our fate. While this all might be part of how the system works, it wasnt until after sitting for an hour in the sun that we got some clue as to the chain of events. There are 3 groups of row boats those designated to row the people that have come from land that are lined up on the shore, those that have arrived by small personal boat I think it was something like boats with 5 people or less ie. the fancy boats and then those that have come by tourist boat boats with 8-12 people on them. Bottom line, be prepared to wait. And bring water from Sorrento or the ferry with you. It can be a LONG wait. And if you have any sea sickness inclinations, boat number 2 waiting for the Grotto will push you over the edge. Several people on our tour gave up, boarded another boat and headed back to Capri skipping the Grotto all together. The Grotto was one of a kind but knowing what I know now, Im not sure I would do it again. Especially considering you are literally inside the Grotto for about 3-4 minutes. The lunch was mediocre, nothing terribly remarkable which was a disappointment considering its Italian food IN Italy imagine yourself in an average quality Brooklyn Italian restaurant, being rushed to eat, and served by disgruntled Italian men. Given the time the Grotto took which cant be predicted we didnt have much free time, but we were able to take the chair lift up Monte Solaro. That was worth the additional fee. Once back to the ferry to return to Sorrento, the chaos begins again for some reason our dock changed and while one guide would try to intercept you and the other meet you at the newly appointed dock, not all the passengers could be accounted for and ended up on a ferry to Naples. Im assuming they then had to make the trip to Naples, then wait for a ferry back to Sorrento, and figure out the rest on their own including a ride to their respective hotels. The guides didnt seem terribly concerned and in fact were dropped off by the shuttle back in the city center to head home themselves while the handful of tourists were somewhere in Naples. On one hand, maybe there was nothing for the guides to do but if I had paid 150 for the day Id want someone there to make sure I had the information to get back to where I started from and the transportation back to my hotel. Bottom line: expensive, overcrowded, chaotic, not worth it.

  • Our tour guides were late and also delayed our tour leaving Sorrento for an hour and 10minutes as the bus of people were also late so we did not leave until 11am when our tour started at 9:50am! They did not meet us in the correct location, so we had called the company who had given us the guides number whom we had contacted and he had then come to meet us later than stated on this tour description.

We did not get into Capri to start the tour till 12 when we were so rushed and only have 30 minutes to quickly walk up the road then back. Nothing at all was organised properly. We were then thrown onto a random bus and rushed to anacapri for a quick speedy lunch and barely half an hour to look around. When we were just grabbing our final souvenir, the guide told us he could not wait for us to do so and walked off.... Horrible!

Lunch was cheap and nothing special. Pasta and pizza was basic, desert was okay and the starter wasn't even a salad. For the price we paid, we were disappointed as we could of had a much better lunch and day for a lot cheaper.

We made it to the bus to go to Blue grotto - which was stunning - but again, a long, long wait to get here.. took almost two hours of the day waiting in line.

Once we got back to the main marina area, we then were given 45minutes of free time before we had to be back on the boat to Sorrento. If we had left on time in the morning we would of had an extra hour or so throughout the day.

I wouldn't choose this tour again as this experience was not the best. It is worth your while to just do a day ferry from Sorrento to Capri and pay for the Blue Grotto on the day.
