Know More about this tour

Depart Sydney over the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge as you make your way towards the quaint town of Leura. Travel through the sleepy hamlets of Blaxland, Wentworth Falls and Lawson along the way.

Once a town bypassed by many, Leura has become a popular stop on the way to the Blue Mountains. Boasting stunning gardens and boutique stores, Leura is now famous for its antique stores and iconic Candy Store. Stocked floor to ceiling with over 1,000 unusual sweets from all around the world, youll be sure to find something you like here.

Next, make your way towards Scenic World where youll stop for approximately 1-hour. Here you can take in the picturesque views over the Jamison Valley as well as the chance to adventure through the stunning rainforest. Ride the steepest incline Railway in the world, before gently ascending on the cable-way back to the top of the mountain. Make sure you leave enough time to enjoy the panoramic views as you ride the Skyway between the cliff tops located approximately 885-feet (270m) above the ancient ravines and rainforest canopy.

If you havent quite taken the perfect photo yet, youre sure to leave with many after a photo stop at Echo Point. Here youll view the spectacular views of the Megalong and Jamison Valleys and have the perfect photo opportunity of the Three Sisters. Youll hear the Indigenous tales of the Three Sisters as your guide describes the history surrounding this iconic point.

If youre looking to immerse yourself in the native culture, the Waradah Aboriginal Centre is your next stop. A contemporary gallery home to Aboriginal song, dance, didgeridoo and culture, here youll have the chance to meet an Aboriginal Elder and purchase a genuine Aboriginal artwork souvenir.

After your Indigenous experience, head towards the iconic Featherdale Wildlife Park home to some of Australias most popular native wildlife.

To top off a magical day, bypass the traffic and enjoy a relaxing 40-minute cruise down the Parramatta River to Sydney Harbour. Take in the stunning scenery as you glide across the water arriving in Darling Harbour or Circular Quay late afternoon.

  • What a great trip our driver Darren was excellent he was very informative and was entertaining as well
This trip is well worth the price and time to do,

  • It was quite a rush tour but to know about Blue Mountain and Scenic World was fine and will make you feel to go for another visit to know more.

  • Stephen was our tour guide and gave us great info on towns we traveled through, kept us laughing while he was driving, and gave us very good tips for our excursions and lunch. This tour is really a great way to see a lot in one day.

  • If you go to Australia, and have time to visit Sydney for a few days, by all means take this tour, include lunch, it won't disappoint. Our bus driver picked us up about 3 blocks from where we were staying. The bus is modern, has a bathroom, and very comfortable. The trip from Sydney to the Blue Mountains took about 2 hours. Once there you have to take a cable car ride to the top. After that you are on your own for a few hours, to do another cable car ride down to the bottom of the mountains, or you can opt to take a Cog train to the bottom. Because the line was very long for the train, we took the Cable car down. One Added feature with the cable car is that the Floor is made from Glass and after you start your decent, the cover to the floor opens up, and the views are breathtaking! If you are a hiker, there are plenty of paths to take at the bottom.
If you want to see some of the local animals that live Down Under then Scenic World/Wildlife Park is you chance to see the animals up close. Also take the time is see how a Boomerang is thrown. One thing I never knew is that there is a Right and Left handed Boomerang, and you will get a chance to throw one.
If you want to see some of the beautiful country and culture that Australia has to offer, Take the Tour..

  • This tour was amazing!

  • This tour didn't disappoint. Very comfortable bus, scenery was amazing

  • An excellent day out! We were picked up by one coach to be dropped off at a central point to get our coach with reserved seating!. Our 1st stop was the town of Leura on the edge of the Blue Mountains. We had time for a wander and a cup of coffee etc. Then it was off to Scenic World. We were dropped off at the eastern point, and caught a cable car across to the main area. This is supposed to offer a view of the falls, but unfortunately, a mist came in and reduced visability. Once we were over the other side, the sun came out! We had great views of the Three Sisters. We then decended on the World's steepest funicular railway to the rainforest below. We walked along the many boardwalks to see all the old mining equipment etc. We then climbed up again on another cable car, and had lunch provided in the visitor centre.
After lunch, we headed off to Echo Point, where we had close up views of the Three sisters and the entire valley.
We also attended an indigenous culture show before heading off to Featherdale Wildlife Park.
The park had a great variety of animal life native to Australia, including opportinities for that photo with a Koala!
After that, we headed off to catch a boat to sail down the river back to Sydney. Weather was brilliant, a free drink was provided, and the views were stunning. We sailed under Sydney Harbour Bridge and right past the Opera House and the Queen Mary 2 which happened to be visiting at the time. We got dropped of at Darling Harbour, where we then proceded to enjoy a meal with a great view of the Sydney skyline. Well worth the money.
