Know More about this tour

This tour is organized and run by locals who have lived in the Blue Mountains all their life!

This adventure commences early from Sydney with a meet and greet at the pickup point. You then have a bit over an hour to acquaint yourself with the group on the bus ride heading to the outskirts of Sydney.

Once you hit the start of the Blue Mountains there is a quick stop at a local shopping village where you can have a quick toilet/food/drinks stop before heading all the way up to the amazing Three Sisters at Echo Point.

Progress further into the mountains to Wentworth Falls where your guide will park the bus and go for a walk through the bush where you will see local fauna, bird life and see the base and summit of the immense Wentworth falls and even have a quick refreshing dip.

All that sightseeing makes people hungry so the group will relocate to a nearby area where we cook an authentic Aussie BBQ (with vegetarian options) and there will even be kangaroo for you to try.

After lunch continue the day of fun and head to a local and secluded waterhole where people can go swimming or lay around on sand in the sun deep within the bush of the Blue Mountains. Then, you head off into the nearby National Park down a long dirt road to say hello to skippy the Kangaroo and throw a boomerang around.

The day generally concludes with people having a nap on the return drive back to Sydney city. It is now time for a free drink at one of the bars for those who wish to have a couple drinks and a laugh as a group to wrap up a great day.

  • I took this tour in February 2017 and I would highly recommend it! I felt that it was very good value for money. The brothers were very friendly and kept us entertained throughout the tour. I imagine it is suitable for all ages, but the tour felt more suited to the 18-30 backpacker audience. As well as a great trip to the Blue Mountains despite how foggy it was!, we were taken to a wonderful viewpoint looking down over Sydney and a secluded beach. Lunch was genuinely delicious. 10/10.

  • Incredible! Can't imagine a better way to experience the blue mountains!! The guides were very knowledgeable and always up for a laugh. They made it feel like a day trip with friends rather than an organised tour. Truly had the most amazing time!!!

  • This was a seriously fun tour. It was catered to a younger group so we did plenty of optional walking and had a fun BBQ. Rather than just sitting on the bus, the trip and people were fun both on and off the bus. There was great conversation all around and the guides, Nick and Trent, were both knowledgeable and entertaining. Whether you're traveling on your own or with a friend, I would 100 recommend this trip if you're looking for an enjoyable day trip with some beautiful views and fun people.

  • This tour was a blast! If you're looking for a fancy coach tour, well, this is not it. But if you want a fun day on Trudy the bus full of model shots, Tim Tams, and funny hats, you won't be disappointed. You'll also have a tasty barbeque and get to sample kangaroo. It's good! This was a highlight of my trip and I can't recommend it enough.

  • We really had a fantastic time on this trip from start to finish with Coast Warriors. Nick and Trent, who are 2/3 of the owners of the company, were awesome and so much fun to be around. They kept us entertained for hours on end. They are really the kind of guys who genuinely enjoy meeting new people. They took us to spots dotted all around the Blue Mountains that would've been difficult to find if we were driving ourselves. The hike down to the bottom of Wentworth Falls was the highlight for us - If we had done the tour with an older crowd, we probably wouldn't have had the opportunity to do that hike. BBQ was tasty, and most importantly - tunes in the van were banging all day!! Couldn't recommend this tour enough, especially for those of you who are youngish and like to meet other like-minded travellers!

  • I absolutely loved this trip, the guys are so friendly, they made everyone feel welcome and really knew their stuff about everywhere we went too. The BBQ made the trip super Aussie authentic I'm veggie and loved it and the small group made it feel slightly less touristy than you'd expect which I loved. There is no way I could have seen all the amazing extra off the beaten track views and sights if i'd gone on my own, so would 100 recommend to others.

  • Really fun day out. The guys had a good balance with making it entertaining and informative. BBQ food was awesome thanks chef. All in all a fab day out. 100 recommend if you want tour which will make you laugh.

  • Great Tour! Nick and Trent are funny and make your entire day a great time. We saw a kangaroo and hiked the steps of doom. And had an awesome Aussie BBQ which is harder to find than you would think! Great tunes, great views, great people, great trip! Definitely worth going!

  • My boyfriend and I would like to thank our awesome tour guides Nick and Trent from Coast Warriors for giving us an unforgettable experience. Their tours cater to a specific age group 18-35, and they only do small-group tours we were eleven on this trip. The size of the group made it easier for us to do the crazy hike into the stairs of doom lol. Thanks for all the funny stories, interesting trivia, delicious Aussie BBQ for lunch I had my first taste of Kangaroo meat, and the AMAZING MUSIC throughout the whole tour I swear your taste in music is BOMB. I also really enjoyed the trivia game on the way home because I was able to answer the question, where in the body is the navicula? We highly recommend this tour! We've made new friends and really, it was as Aussie as it could be.
