Know More about this tour

After meeting your guide at your centrally located CBD hotel, travel approximately 45-minutes towards Featherdale Wildlife Park, one of Sydney's favorite native wildlife sanctuaries home to iconic Australian animals such as kangaroos, koala's, and a range of stunning native bird-life. Here you'll have the opportunity to take a selfie with a koala, get up close for a face-to-face encounter as you hand-feed and pose for the camera with the animals.

Next, make your way to Echo Point Katoomba, the perfect vantage point for the iconic Three Sisters; a stunning natural rock formation named after an Aboriginal legend which describes a tale of three sisters turned to stone. Here, let your guide take you back in time as you explore the legends of the local Indigenous people and discover the history surrounding the rock formation. You'll also have time for the perfect photo opportunity as you look-out across the Jamison Valley and view the unique blue haze that covers the skyline.

Up next is Scenic World, one of the Blue Mountains most frequently visited attractions. For the nature lovers, soak up the fresh air and see the world heritage listed rainforest canopy as you make your way through the lush greenery along the boardwalks. If you're up for a little more adventure, scenic world is home to the worlds steepest incline railway as well as an incredible scenic cable-way ride. The cable-way is a fully enclosed glass floor cabin providing unique views over the valley out to the Three Sisters, Orphan Rock, Mt Solitary and the stunning Katoomba Falls. You'll feel like you're flying as you travel over the breathtaking Katoomba Falls - a sight you won't want to miss. If the glass floor isn't for you, there is solid flooring with seating available around the outskirts of the cabin.

End your day on a high as you bypass the peak hour traffic with a relaxing cruise down the Parramatta River back to either Darling Harbour or Circular Quay. See some of Sydney's most expensive real estate as you cruise along the river and end with the perfect harbor photo opportunities as you arrive back in the CBD.

  • An excellent trip and a very good tour guide. good pace and did all that the itinery schedule specified.
The mountains are definitely worth a visit when visiting Sydney. We missed doing the mountain trip on our first visit to Sydney due to time, and are really pleased we got an opportunity to do it this time.

  • The guide did a great job on a very foggy day. He tried a number of alternatives to get us the best views.

  • Best part was the zoo. Zoo got you up close with the animals .Blue mountains was interesting but the crowds lousy rides and limited time in rainforest and bus travel time make it a lousy time. Boat ride over crowed with uncomfortable seating .

  • This tour was amazing!

  • Most visually beautiful trip on our short visit to Sydney! Stopover in Leura for lovely lunch and coffee. Finally, seeing the Blue Mountains from many vantage points was very memorable. Our bus driver was very knowledgeable and entertained us with stories and bits of Australias history during our trip.

  • The Blue Mountains trip and Scenic World is not to be missed. It was a delight seeing the Koala Bear and the Kangaroo along with many exotic animals at the Scenic World. Our bus driver and guide was terrific showing us what and where to go to maximize enjoying the place. He even gave us a parting gift of tiny kangaroo stuff toy. The included Ferry boat ride is delightful and wonderful to see the Sydney bridge up close. Everyone in our group enjoyed the thrill riding the train at the Blue mountain. It was delightful we enjoyed it so much along with shopping. A Visit to the opera house is not to be missed. Overall a fantastic excursion via Viator.

  • While on a family vacation in Australia and New Zealand for four weeks, we booked ten excursions, this one by FJ Tours and terrific tour guide Jed was first class all the way and our favorite of them all! Jed shared wonderful insights and provided action packed day with Featherdale Wildlife Park, Blue Mountains, Scenic World and ending with a scenic cruise back to Sydney under the Harbour Bridge. Tour cost included all activities including three different rides at Scenic World and is an incredible value! It is worth well more than twice the price. I highly recommend FJ Tours and suggest asking for Jed.

  • Rea provided a GREAT trip! She took us to several hidden gem views on the way in a small van which was very nice. She explained the best way to expedite the rides at Scenic World. We enjoyed Featherdale WIldlife Park and the river ride back to Sydney. Delivered what was described and more!

  • I would recommend FJ Tours to anyone visiting Sydney. It was an overall fun day. This is by far, one of the best tour providers that Viator chose. After a rather negative experience with one international brand that was booked via Viator, I feel like Viator really should listen to their reviewers. FJ Tours was fun, our driver/skip was Michael, he was very lively and informative. No hotel pickups only to be taken to a tourist centre for more optional extras to make more money, and no wasting 1 hour which is why I personally avoid Gray Line tours Everything in the itinerary was enjoyed by everyone on the tour just as promised... no skipping attractions, or visiting sites in the dark because of wasted time. The added bonus was the harbour cruise at the end of the tour. I would highly recommend this tour! Thanks FJ Tours!
