Know More about this tour

After meeting your guide at your centrally located CBD hotel, travel approximately 45-minutes towards Featherdale Wildlife Park, one of Sydney's favorite native wildlife sanctuaries home to iconic Australian animals such as kangaroos, koala's, and a range of stunning native bird-life. Here you'll have the opportunity to take a selfie with a koala, get up close for a face-to-face encounter as you hand-feed and pose for the camera with the animals.

Next, make your way to Echo Point Katoomba, the perfect vantage point for the iconic Three Sisters; a stunning natural rock formation named after an Aboriginal legend which describes a tale of three sisters turned to stone. Here, let your guide take you back in time as you explore the legends of the local Indigenous people and discover the history surrounding the rock formation. You'll also have time for the perfect photo opportunity as you look-out across the Jamison Valley and view the unique blue haze that covers the skyline.

Up next is Scenic World, one of the Blue Mountains most frequently visited attractions. For the nature lovers, soak up the fresh air and see the world heritage listed rainforest canopy as you make your way through the lush greenery along the boardwalks. If you're up for a little more adventure, scenic world is home to the worlds steepest incline railway as well as an incredible scenic cable-way ride. The cable-way is a fully enclosed glass floor cabin providing unique views over the valley out to the Three Sisters, Orphan Rock, Mt Solitary and the stunning Katoomba Falls. You'll feel like you're flying as you travel over the breathtaking Katoomba Falls - a sight you won't want to miss. If the glass floor isn't for you, there is solid flooring with seating available around the outskirts of the cabin.

End your day on a high as you bypass the peak hour traffic with a relaxing cruise down the Parramatta River back to either Darling Harbour or Circular Quay. See some of Sydney's most expensive real estate as you cruise along the river and end with the perfect harbor photo opportunities as you arrive back in the CBD.

  • Enjoyed this trip very much. Comfortable van with free water. Beautiful scenery and driver provided just the right amount of commentary.

  • A lot to crowd into one day but an outrageous trip. We booked with FJ Tours at the last minute on Christmas eve. Hats off to Norm and Nathan for a wonderful, personable tour. Would have been nice to have more time at each stop but within the time constraints of the day, we never felt pushed or shoved by our guides. Featherdale was awesome!

  • Bus driver was excellent!

It was bit problematic trying to find out where to wait for the bus as the designated road was blocked off due to construction. The telephone number we received via email was not useful as nobody answered it probably because it. However the bus driver went around on foot to collect us all.

  • Our first tour in Sydney. We had a good tour with Max

  • Wow, what a day! The scenery should not be missed and that alone was worth the trip. The visit to the animal centre was not something we would have planned ourselves, but actually it was quite enjoyable. Lunch at Leura was great and would recommend doing your own thing as you will see more of the enchanting small village. The highlight is of course the Blue Mountain and we were not disappointed. Ben our driver was excellent delivering just the right amount of information and kept the excursion on time throughout the day. He actually took us to an additional viewpoint which was an added bonus. Had to wait for a couple of late tour coaches on the boat trip back into the city, but the relaxing journey on the boat really was a great way to finish the day, sitting with a cold beer. Really good day and thanks to Ben.

  • This trip was excellent in terms of itinerary, and places to visit. The tour guide and driver were fantastic. However, one thing to consider is that the tour was in a large bus, at least 50 people in the tour. Therefore we spent one hour driving around Sydney picking up people from different hotels before heading to the first stop. Since this is a long tour that involves a lot of driving time, the additional hour collecting passengers was tiring and frustrating. Though hotel pickup is very convenient, it may not be practical. Perhaps establish a central meeting point, or use smaller vehicles to pick up people in different areas and then transfer them to the bigger bus. In any case, having tourists spending more than 30 minutes inside a bus is not ideal, never mind one hour. Other than that, everything was better than expected.

  • The tour was extremely poorly organized. There were miscommunications regarding the pick up. The shuttle was uncomfortable. The driver asked us to pay for our meals at a location of his choice, there was not enough time at the attractions, and the ride back to the city is by "public" ferry.

  • Worth every penny. Go for it!

  • The ride on the world steepest railway was quite interesting. If you dare to try, take the one downhill. I took the one uphill and the railway just went backwards uphill quite fast, was totally unaware that it runs so fast.

  • Great trip a must do while visiting Sydney
