Our tour runs on the first Saturday of each month. Our tours are limited in numbers so bookings are essential especially during school holidays and summer months. (Whilst we advertise the tour as three and half hours return, this time may be extended depending on size and fitness of group)
All guests meet in the car park near the Ranger station inside the Blue Mountains National Park located at the end of Bruce Road, Glenbrook at 10.30am. This time is subject to change due to weather conditions and you will be advised prior to your walking tour if the time has been changed. If you drive your vehicle inside the park you will need to buy a vehicle pass and display inside your vehicle. We encourage everyone to remain in the park after your tour and see the Kangaroos, the views from Mt Portal or cool down and take a dip in the Jellybean pool. A representative from Great Camping Adventures, who own and operate this walking tour will be there to greet you from 10.30am. They are easily identified and will be in uniform.
After a short safety briefing all participants will follow the tour leader in their own vehicle to the car park at the commencement of the Red Hands Cave walk. All those without vehicles will be transported by our team. Your walking tour will commence at 11am. Please ensure you bring a water bottle and wear a hat. A back pack is always recommended and you should wear clothes suitable for the weather forecast. All attending must wear enclosed footwear. Thongs and sandals are not permitted on the track for safety reasons.
At the conclusion of your tour we will supply a light lunch consisting of sandwiches, fruit and water. Please advise prior to departure on the day if you have any special dietary requirements.
