Know More about this tour

After pickup at your Seattle-area location — whether hotel, residence or another spot — make the drive to the city of Everett, north of Seattle. Depending on the size of your party, enjoy comfortable, private transportation by town car or van. On the way, your private driver will point out interesting sights and tell you a bit about Boeing’s history and what to expect at the factory.

When you arrive at the massive Boeing factory — the largest building in the world! — meet your tour guide and fellow visitors for your behind-the-scenes tour of the facilities to see how the planes are assembled.

From high above the factory floor, view the assembly of Boeing’s major airplanes: the 747, 767, 777 and the revolutionary 787 Dreamliner. Down on the flight line, see aircraft in various stages being outfitted and painted with logos for airline companies around the world. You may also see a Dreamlifter — a jumbo 747 cargo plane designed to transport the Dreamliner’s large parts from every corner of the world to Everett for final assembly.

Gain a more in-depth understanding of Boeing's airplane production with a theater presentation of the 777 plane, a virtual tour of the 787 flight deck, and a tour of a mimicked 787 Dreamliner interior. Your expert guide will also teach you all about the history of the Boeing Company, which was founded in 1916 by William E Boeing in Seattle.

In addition to your factory tour, visit the Future of Flight Aviation Center to explore the dynamics of flight. Strap yourself into the 'Innovator' for an exhilarating virtual experience of the Battle for Iwo Jima, a Grand Prix Race or a barnstorming stunt plane. On the touch-screen computers, you can design and test your own airplane!

At the end of your tour, you’ll be taken back to your pickup location in your private vehicle with your guide.

  • Our Guide Shane was absolutely fantastic! Tour was great, but, pricey.

  • Driver was excellent and very courteous and knowledgeable. I would have liked more time at Boeing Factory and Museum of Flight.

  • I would highly recommend this trip. It was awesome. Our guide was very knowledgeable and very attentive to our needs. I would like to have had more time in the museum. I would take this tour again.

  • Our driver was excellent. He told us about the history of Boeing and of Seattle. He stayed at the factory while we toured. He was very pleasant and a asset to Viator Tours. He made out day SPECIAL.
I will check out Viator Tours at whatever city I visit. Reliable and Friendly.

  • Ted Jennings, our guide, went out of his way to make us comfortable during the tour and to accommodate all our needs. He was very engaging to my two teenage sons, discussing things like music and aeronautics. Gave us ample time to tour the museum as well as the Restoration Center - giving us the inside-scoop of things. After the tour was done, gave us other great suggestions on exploring the rest of Seattle and surrounding areas. The Factory tour was absolutely awesome for those who love airplanes - to see the Boeing 747 and 787 Dreamliner as they're made was really a sight to see. Would definitely do it again.

  • Tour guides were very good and informative.
If you are really into different types of
aviation, helicopters, planes, etc. than this is just an overview
of the whole Boeing operation. It could have been longer.
It was a total of 4 hrs. not the 6 hours that I thought it was going to be which Viator
reservations call center had confirmed to me.
My family enjoyed the tour but would have rather spent more time in each
    museum
The great part was not having to park or drive so it was really easy.
If you only have one day to see everything and a short amount of time
this is the way to do it.

  • Our private tour went off swimmingly with our driver picking us up promptly on time and was quite amendable when we had to get back 15 minutes early. He also provided an informational dialogue as we made our way to Everett
