This was an excellent experience and very memorable. Shannon was very well spoken and kept my family engaged throughout the entire tour. I would highly recommend visiting this historical site and using Shannon Scott as your guide. Thank you!!
Beautiful cemetery - filled with history -and interesting stories. Shannon was an excellent tour guide and went above and beyond in making our tour special - on John Mercer’s birthday day! Will come back!
Our tour guide, Jessica was amazing. She works for Shannon and they do a lot of research on Bonaventure including contacting the plot family to find out the stories. As a trained librarian and artist, Jessica was very knowledgeable about the history of Savannah, Bonaventure, how cemetery plot worked and stories behind the sculptures. I don't remember the dates, but I remember the stories because they were fascinating and Jessica painted a clear picture for us. I'm glad the weather was cool and nice that we didn't need a bug spray. We ended up walking 2 hours stopping at many plots on a leisurely pace. Highly recommend this tour.
Our guide Jessica was a wonderful guide sharing her knowledge and love of this genuinely beautiful
place. One was easily transported to the Victorian era where Jessica brought the history alive with her storytelling and her descriptions . Thanks Jessica!
Our guide was knowledgeable and interesting. Only minus was that she spent too much time telling us about a very few sites and ran over the scheduled 2 hour time by 45 minutes. Would have preferred to have shortened spiels about many more of the great sites in the cemetery.
Jessica was a great tour guide and she went above and beyond. The cemetery is beautiful, with some amazing stories. Very glad we took this tour! Bring bug spray, the mosquitoes were crazy though!
Wonderfully entertaining and informative tour by the charismatic Shannon Scott. A must do while in Savannah!
This is a great tour of a beautiful place. Our guide told us about the history, people and symbolism of the beautiful cemetery.
Thoroughly enjoyed our Bonaventure Cemetery tour with Jessica. She was a great story teller and she was able to draw from her artistic background to further enhance her content. I loved hearing about the history of Savannah and seeing the beauty of the grounds and the exquisite statues.
Our guide was entertaining and informative. For those, like myself, who hate being overrun by fellow tourists, this is a great tour. The cemetery itself has a real aura of peacefulness.
