The description says it will be a max of 15 people. There were 48. Don’t book through trip advisor. Go to the beach and negotiate with a local. You’ll get a tour for less than half the price. I have no idea what I paid for as for every stop I had to pay more money. 100 pesos to swim (yes you read that right), 300 pesos to go look at a cave, 200 pesos for cliff jumping. While off the boat no one on the boat took the time to explain anything or make sure our stuff was safe on the boat. Locals would climb aboard the boat and go through peoples belongings

*** BE AWARE OF THIS SCAM COMPANY *** Now first of all, I have never written a negative experience under my 15 years of travel. Things are usually solveable and people are usually very cooperative. This is NOT the case here. We booked a half day tour with a small boat around Boracay island. First we got incredibly confused about where to go and who to talk to. When we finally found our advisor, we had to wait for another ”transfer boat” for more than one hour standing on the beach without any information about when it’s coming or where we are going. When the boat finally arrives there’s anything but what we’ve booked and the boat is so overloaded that we decide not to even enter for our own safety. The description on Tripadvisor is extremely misleading and incorrect: - snorkel and diving mask is ”included” but you are forced to pay a ”usage fee” when you come back to shore. - you are forced to pay an ”environmental fee” when you get back. unclear why this isn’t included in the full price. - it says maximum 15 people on the boat which would be considered a small boat. They do not mention that If there are many bookings you are going with a more than twice as big boat so crowded you won’t be able so see or experience anything in plain sight. - the food is anything but lunch. It’s snacks under a tree on one of the beaches. - the crew or your agent does not speak very well english and will not understand what you are saying. - they give you directions on where to be and at what time. But, themselves will not be there and they will definitely not be on time. Expect several hours of delay and confusion. - they refuse to reply after your tour and will not pay any refunds even if they admit being wrong in their descriptions. After some time, the description is still the same and they continue to scam tourists like there is no tomorrow. Such a shame for the Phillipine tourism.

A bit of confusion finding the point of contact, but after that it went smooth. Started with snorkeling, going to Crystal Cove Island, had a buffet, then went to Puka Beach where I took photos in the clear boat. The tour guides were friendly as they realized I was a solo traveler and offered many times to take photos of me.

We took an island hopping tour in Boracay last January, (boat had Shingley sign on it), and wished we didnt, as it was a waste of time and money. The tour guide for a start only mainly engaged with the locals, and even as a Filipino myself, had a difficult time understanding him. We couldn't go to Puka beach due to the weather/waves. Instead we went to a sort of cove, and to get to the shore you had to walk on rocks while waves pounded you. One could easily fracture/sprain one's ankle from doing do. Nothing to see there except ruins of Pacquiao's mansion. Next stop was snorkeling in a protected area. There were hardly any fishes around! The guides also collected sea urchins for their consumption, I don't think they should be doing that in a so-called protected area. Next stop was the lunch buffet. To get there we had to walk at the back area of Caticlan where it was muddy, with lots of rubbish. The lunch was terrible, it was poor quality mass tourism on a big scale. It just left a bad taste in the mouth. The servers could hardly give you a smile, and I don't blame them. Next stop was the Magic Cove (or something like that). Don't bother paying 300 pesos as all you will see are weird structures, some of which are almost crumbling. My partner and I could not wait for the tour to finish. By the way, this tour is not PWD friendly. If these tour operators continue with this seemingly unregulated tours, you will surely choke the golden goose.

The host was constantly communicating to ensure we got there. Every island we stopped had enough time to experience what we need to do.

I found the trip a waste of my day. It should have been a 2 hour boat ride around the island and that's all. A separate trip for those that like to snorkel to give them more time. We got taken to an island where there were rocks and the beach was murky - what's the point when the beach at the hotel is 10 times better. The lunch was very ordinary and we didn't bother with the dinner. There needs to be a restructure to suite the different options.
