Know More about this tour

Breakfast in the zoo might be a common thing, but breakfast with Orangutan? That would be one kind of an experience! As the first one in Indonesia, Bali Zoo has launched a Breakfast with Orangutans program. Now, guests are not only able to eat breakfast like a king, but also with some of the kings in the jungle: orangutans. The package comes with a hotel pick-up around 7 a.m., and the van that picks up the guests will then head straight to the zoo. Once arrived, guests can still breath the fresh air of Gianyar, feel the breeze, embrace the light morning fog, and hear the chirpy birds and other animals that are just awake and ready to snooze off your sleepy mode on.

The Zookeeper will guide guests to Gayo Restaurant at Kampung Sumatra, see the playful orangutans play in the playground. Other faunas will also be joining the hearty breakfast. A scrumptious breakfast is served during Breakfast with Orangutan. Start with assorted tropical fruits or fruit juice, followed by freshly baked bread, and optional choices of main course that ranged from Fried Rice, Buttermilk pancake, Classic Cereals and more. Complete your morning with a cup of Balinese coffee or warm English breakfast tea to compote a perfect ending to your breakfast quest.

  • We where picked up by a pleasant driver the food was amazing great variety and all freshly prepared the staff where all very friendly and couldn't do enough for you had photos taken with the very friendly young orangutans they also had 2 elephants a number of birds and a baby hedgehog. They are doing a lot of work upgrading the animal enclosures to a modern style zoo will be fantastic when completed well worth a visit.

  • My family and had a fantastic time at the zoo highly recommend it

  • Fantastic for up close and personal and the zoo itself was awesome. I also got to hand feed a tiger for an extra couple of dollars. Breakfast was lovely and the facilities clean and well kept. The only reservation I had was even though there a few orangutangs to view, there were too many groups and by the time our turn came, we were table 32 of 35 the orangutangs had enough of posing for the day so I suggest smaller groups of 25 tables a day to the zoo. The staff were awesome and informative.

  • A great experience. The Orangutan's were lovely and it was great to be able to get so close to them. You can't reach out and touch them, but they did reach out and touch us.

Feeding the elephants was also great, as was feeding the tiger extra cost later on in the zoo.

Well worth a trip and something you will never forget.

  • We absolutely loved this. The Orangutans gave us lots of laughs. Very Cheeky! The Zoo is well set out. The Gibbons really held our attention. Like everywhere we went in Bali, the staff were amazing.

  • Very disappointed, it was buffet breakfast and a photo with an orangutan then wonder round the zoo. Not worth the money

  • I had a real day. It started with having a awesome driver who told me so much about Bali it made the trip go fast. Then straight into having a beautiful buffet breakfast where the staff waited on me they were so attentive. Then I had a great time the orangutan grabbed my hand it was a lovely moment. I grabbed a few shot of myself with all the animals that were at the breakfast. Then I went for a big walk around the zoo I felt it was a great experience for the money I paid

  • Great chance to get up close and personal with some animals -- orangutans, elephants, birds. Fantastic breakfast buffet in an open-air patio overlooking the elephant pool, and right near the orangutans, who are not in cages! We were given numbers to get our turn to take our photos with the animals. Afterward, free time to roam around the zoo. Our driver got lost, traffic was gridlock, and it took a very long time to get us back to our hotel, but otherwise, our time at the zoo was really fun!

  • Well worth doing.... Get up close and personal with more animals than just the orangutans!

Only thing I would say is maybe call the tour something else as you don and #39;t get much time with the orangutans!!

    But still a good morning

  • We thoroughly enjoyed this experience . We got to spend enough time with the orangutans and also got to interact with elephants and some birdlife. The staff took pics for us on our own phone and camera as well as taking photos that you can purchase. Brekkie was good and zoo is excellent
