This walking dessert tour combines Broadway history with quintessentially New York-style desserts, led by a real NYC actor. Discover the stories behind the bright lights of Broadway and learn the history of the theater district as you try classic New York desserts like cheesecake, black and white cookies, and more. Youll be a Great White Way expert before you leave!

This tour starts in the Times square area, where you will meet your licensed tour guide and the rest of your tour group. Groups range from 3-16 guests for a conversational experience. On this tour, you'll learn about Broadway history as you eat your way through quintessential New York desserts under the bright lights of the Broadway theater district.

Start out with a light and sweet coffee (New York style, of course!) as we work our way through the theater district with your guide, a real NYC actor. Get the inside scoop on Broadway and the area's history and learn interesting tidbits about the shows that are currently playing on Broadway.


You'll walk 1.5-2 miles on this tour at a leisurely pace with opportunities to sit down over the course of about 3 hours. Your tour includes 6 classic New York-style dessert tastings, which may include black and white cookies, macaroons, NY-style coffee, cheesecake, and more.

    This is the 2nd tour I’ve been on. I came in with my sister and nieces. Our tour guide was Kelly and she was great! The places we stopped at were delicious, from custard to pie to cookies to cupcakes to cheesecake and an egg cream!! She also gave us interesting info about the places we stopped at!

    This was not what I expected. First of all it wasn't the best desserts or the fanciest places - but it was more about New York City favorites. We had custard and egg cream and cupcakes - nothing too impressive. But our guide was super nice and very knowledgeable about NYC. Walking around the theater district and learning about the history of the place was very cool. But if you are looking for the best desserts in New York, I don't think this is the tour for you.

    The Broadway and desert tour was great! This was mainly due to the fact that our tour guide, Kelly, was very knowledgeable and clearly had a huge love for Broadway. We learned a lot of Broadway facts and history I hadn't even realized and a lot about the buildings where shows are performed. Kelly also gave us a lot of helpful tips too. The places on the dessert tour stops were good, though nothing really amazing tbh. You get to try a lot of good desserts though which was great (and filling) and the walk/locations are great. Cost/value is decent.

    We really liked the Broadway Dessert Tour. Kelley was a terrific guide with a great personality, who talked about the theater world on our way to multiple dessert stops, that included ice cream, cookies, pie, cheesecake and a chocolate egg cream. I and my two sons in their twenties enjoyed this tour.

    The dessert tour was lots of fun. Not only did we learn about Broadway but we also got to walk through Hell's Kitchen. Our guide Dionne was wonderful - very knowledgeable about the Broadway district. The tastings were delicious and generous in size. Plus we got to go into Sardi's and see the caricatures of the stars. All in all, a fun and filling afternoon

    Dionne was a great guide and the desserts were great. Learning about Broadway and some NY history was super fun too. Saw several local only bakeries. Never would have found them otherwise. Sooo much dessert but it can be packaged to go too which is awesome. We had treats for 3 days. So fun. So yummy. Do this tour.

    We would like to highly recommend Sugartooth's Bright Lights and Broadway Bites Dessert Tour! Our tour guide, Dionna, did an excellent job. She was warm, personable and very knowledgeable. It was fun to listen to her as she had many stories to tell and lots of information to share. The places we visited were popular spots, and she had called ahead and had our food waiting for us. Each stop was a delectable delight. Our two and a half hours flew by. We have taken many food tours in NYC, but this one tops our list. Thank you Dionna and Sugartooth Tours!
